Aye, I definitely agree with ya.. and like I said, I wouldn't be overly proud of breaking my headboard.. and definitely not a boxspring, that just risks ruining your mattress

Okay, you're missing the whole COLD thing. I prefer not to have to deal with snow. I'd love to live in a place that didn't get to hot either. I'm a t-shirt and jeans year round kind of person.

I went through Colorado in the winter.. I could wear t-shirt and jeans there

It's not as cold as Penn..

But if you want t-shirt and jeans all year round.. you're looking at 3 destinations, on continental US at least..

Southern Texas.. California.. and Florida..

You don't want southern accents, so that rules out Texas.

You say you want nerds? Move to Silicon Valley in Cali.. outrageous cost of living though.

So my fellow nerds, it's time for me to leave. Not the board, but the city I currently reside in. I hope in the next 6 months to move out of here, to someplace new. But where, exactly, I'm not sure, so I'm looking for suggestions.

I like city living to be sure, but if it's a large surburan city type area, that's fine too. Perferrably someplace that's not too expensive to live in, someplace it's not too cold in the winter (no colder than Pennsylvania anyways, warmer would be nice), a place that's got a decent economy and jobs aren't scarce, and a place with a good nerd population. I was considering the San Fran Area (although expensive), Washington DC, Philly, Seattle, but if anyone else has ideas...

One rule...I can't live anywhere where the people talk with Southern accents. I would likely go postal with a high powered rifle.

From my understanding, Florida is one of the most diverse states.. people from all over the world live there. I've never thought of it as Southern.

Yay for funnel cakes. Yeah, I thought about Tampa a LONG time ago, but I'm beginning to reconsider. My parents have a beach house down in Clearwater so I'd have a place to stay til I found an apartment.
