For those in charge, my recon is complete.
FLA is a hole. Full of swamp.
We should just slag it from orbit and be done with it.

To any video game nerds, has anyone else played the Space Empires series?
I know, dumb name, but this game is like cocaine for me.
You can design your home race, from the ground up, control their development, socially, technically, and spiritually, as they take their first steps into space.

And then you have an entire galaxy to explore/subjugate/annihilate/improve.

The Prime Directive can suck me.
I burned a planet inhabited by SEVEN prewarp civilizations.

A really big mirror should do the trick. Laser beam fires from the space platform, hits the mirror, and the beam can then be used to... I dunno, carve your name in the face of the moon.
