Thanks. I have to admit, I was a bit offended at the comments made, but whatever. Seems he was in the minority anyway, so it's all good.

I was offended too.. especially by his word choice. "Creepy" How the fuck is that even possibly creepy? Maybe to him it's unusual to keep in contact with an ex, but that's HIS choice. And unless he's perfect in every way imaginable, where does he have room to judge others?

I'm well aware that for some people, it's impossible. But noone has the right to judge others based off what they would do. Noone is alike. I have no problem with him for not having his ex's for friends, but that he would feel the need to critisize someone about doing it is just being ignorant. Different strokes for different folks.

Naturally, it depends on the nature of the relationship, and how good/badly it ended. I've had exes I still talk to and consider friends. Others who I cut out of my life complete, or ones who do it to me. If anything, it hurts more when someone you still care about, enjoy spending time with, etc and are willing to try and stay friends after they have ended it tells you they don't even want to try. Last time that happened to me I went a bit apeshit, because I was clearly completely smitten and falling for said person to begin with, then they pretty much told me to fuck off and didn't give me a reason. Meh...guess I'm still not over it.

Most of my ex's and I still talk. Some more awkwardly then others. One even asked me to come and take part in his wedding. Yeah..not sure that'll be happening but I will send a gift and my best wishes. Better then fighting constantly I guess.

My ex who proposed to me before coming to terms with being gay was funny, he hated me because I sort of found out and lead to him coming out. So that really ended that.

I still talk to a couple of the people I dated back in high school on occasion. I occasionally will hang out with my one ex who lives near here, but that's not often because every time we hang out he asks me if I want to fool around again (NO!). I'd say most of my exes and I don't talk, but I also don't always handle getting dumped well.

Judging just from that I would say you are in your teens. No offense intended with the comment mind you, merely an observation.

Alot of the folks who are mentioning they are on good terms with their ex's tend to be a few years older then that.

I'm friends with most of my exes. I admit, there are some I cannot stand either, but meh. That's just me. I'm friends with everyone- or at least try to be. O_O" Probably the most fucked-up thing I'm enduring is, living with my ex-boyfriend. We're totally cool with it, and I really don't care who he brings home, as long as he respects my space, and makes sure I'm not really *ahem* around. So it is possible to br friends with your ex, but there are downfalls as well, such as for example with me living with my ex, he has a tendacy to think he still owns me, and often tells me things I'm not allowed to do certain things( which drives me nuts!!!!!) but meh. The countdown is on 1 month and 15 days!!!! WoooOOoooooOOooooOOOoooOOooooOOooo

I will be 22 this year. I just hate the stupid bullshit that I let them get away with (eventually causing emotional problems). So no, I am not in my teens and yes, I do hope they are dead.
