Ohhhh.
Ok, I see.

Why exactly do wizards think they're better at necromancy than clerics?
First and foremost, an evil cleric can channel negative energy in all sorts of proundead ways. Healing, bolstering, countering the dreaded turning attempts.

I tell ya, those arcies just think they can walk all over us.
The Union will hear of this.

Spins, we're happy to have you here.
Because he's still useful as a character even without the undead? ;) ;) ;)

Well if I'm stuck with the Empress, Micro, Vess, and Rei, I suppose I could live with that...

Not to mention my good friends Spins, Tol, Trom, the Cleric, and anyone else I may have forgotten...

Good to be part of the gang...you bunch of nerds.

This seems a good place to ask...

I used to play the 'Magic:The Gathering' trading card game.... even entered tourneys and won stuff!!

I have folders of complete sets from 4th edition to Urza's Saga..... does anyone know if they are saleable?

The people I used to play with have slowly gone.... and it's not worth keeping them all for the few times they visit, sadly.

Bonzaiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!

Wow, crazy day at work today! My coworker Ericka and I have decided to have a wrestling match in the store, in a kiddie pool filled with pudding. OUr coworkers are intriguiged.

It probably depends on the specific card in question. Some are rarer than others, and the condition of the card is important to factor in too. Other than that I don't know much about Magic cards.

Why do I feel like I'm constantly at work, and still don't have the money for my new computer??? Life is a bitch.

Oh, and no sex, either. Weee...

Inregards to the Magik Cards, I say, sell them all on eBay or burn them...it's the first step to recovering from an addiciton.

I recall a Con I worked where they had syringes filled with shredded cards....it wasn't nicknamed Magic the Addiction for nothing.

We are a wellspring of knowledge!
If they're in good shape, selling them as complete sets could make it worth your while.

Heh, Living Room Games, a pen-and-paper game making company run by folks who used to work at AggieCon when they went to school at Texas A&M, had a set of D2s minted, basically little brass-looking coins that had "1" and "2" stamped on each side. I had one of those for the better part of a year before I lost it. I'd use it to decide what to get for lunch.

The guy who does Something Positive made a card for one of the Munchkin games called "Rocks Fall, Everyone Dies", and it does pretty much just that. A player plays the card at the end of his turn after losing a battle, and everyone else looses a level along with him. :D

Heh... yep, you are right.. and the folders are taking up loads of space.

Thanks...

Cheers... it's hard though as people just seem to want to cherry-pick the sought after ones and leave me with the rest.. seems a shame to throw so many away...

And palometto... I am NOT a nerd!!!
d12 you say..? Hmmm..... ;)

Thanks everyone :)
