Feast cracked me up....first time I watched it I howled...what movie fucks up the whole establishment with the deaths you see. I laughed my ass off with the first death. I rented it not too long ago to show to my female roommate (she hates horror movies but watched Feast from start to finish with me and her b/f)
Best quote I love.
"Who are you?"
"The guy who's gonna save your ass"

I understood 'slightly' and 'rent'.

What?

-_-" Long story short:

-Creepy Man who dresses up as Vincent Valentine from FF7 except all in black
- His password on his acct. is " Necrophiliac"
- I stupidly ( out of shock/fear) told him I used to go to school for Funeral Directory and Psychology.
- Turns out he likes girls who study... that sort of thing

and you get the rest.

ok, i'll try and remember to do that :cathappy:

o and i just took a photo
teeth...

The teeth are cute, as is the whole picture. :D

They don't quite make me think of vampire so much as one of those "Being mischievous" cartoony faces they do in anime sometimes.

Sadly, I am not quite an Alpha-Nerd, although I did work as the Dealers' Room Director for one of the AggieCons a few years back (AggieCon is, of course, a student-run sci-fi/fantasy/horror convention, the largest and longest running such in the US and possibly the world).

So does that make me like, the Beta Nerd or maybe the Zeta Nerd?

I used to love Forever Knight, I still catch an episode now and then when I see it on. :)

What with the mention of Angel, I'd just like to remind anyone who liked that show to check out Bones. Very cool show, David Boreanze playing an FBI agent with some of the same general kookiness of Angel, but none of the hypersensitivity to sunlight or cravings for human blood. He's really 90% of what makes the show fun to watch.

So it's official, Sonic the Hedgehog will be a playable character in the upcoming Super Smash Bros. Brawl game for the Wii. Sweeeeeet!

It's true, hell has officially frozen over. Expect flying pigs to come first, followed by the end of the world as we know it.

Bring it on.

I believed you.
Verified it, but I trusted you.

Sonic the hedgehog.

But not Megaman.
And extremely popular Nintendo license, and they're not touching it.

Fuck you, Nintendo.

That's what we have MUGEN for. :D

But yeah, I would LOOOOOVE to see the Blue Bomber in there. I mean they brought in Snake. Where the hell did Snake come from? Why not put Bomberman in there, or Banjo & Kazooie, or freakin' Ryu? [/sarcasm] But I'm very happy that they brought Pit from Kid Icarus into the game.

haha I may not be able to hang in this thread for too long... I don't game at all... and I am not into anime or anything resembling it... lol

But, I am huge computer nerd... and I love fantasy books...

Books I can think right off the top of my head that I enjoyed

The Malazan Book of the Fallen - Steven Erikson: good series... loooong read
Any Drizzit Novel - RA Salvatore
Wheel of Time - Robert Jordan
Crown of Stars - Kate Elliot
A Song of Fire and Ice - George RR Martin
Any Taltos Novel - Steven Burst

and not fantasy, but The Walking Drum - Louis L'Amour

those are the fairly obvious ones...

Good deal... and I'll thank you for directing me to this thread... I saw you in the Texas Role Call...

and I agree... everything from Austin to SA rocks... sucks I didn't get to float the river this year!

Geez, why did everyone from Texas come out of the woodwork after I moved to California?

Simple, it's the 'the world has a sense of humor' clause.

Every comes out of the wood work to provide you the opportunity for that joke.

what's peggle?

It is an unbelievably addictive puzzle game where you launch little pinballs from the top of the screen, and have to hit all of the orange pegs to advance to the next level. The whole setting of the game is so unbelievably cheerful and flowery that it's almost like it's making fun of itself.

Especially with the special Valve Orange Box edition, which had levels based on Half Life 2, Counterstrike, Team Fortress 2, and Portal. :D
