We're better, and I got an Apoc in my new clix brick, so life is good.

and I quite enjoy your watchmen siggy, Dr. Manhattan is based off captain atom which is about my second or third favorite hero of all time. (Running behind DC's Arsenal/Red Arrow, and Marvel's Deadpool.)

I think its a good thing they didn't use those Charlton Comics guys, the stand alone nature of Watchmen gave it a clean slate to work from.

Arsenal was the guy who started that group with Nightwing right? Deadpool, I've only read a couple were he's teamed up with Cable. Goofy guy.

Honestly I think the only one bound to the ultimate moral code (not just a utilitarian code) is Rorscharch. The fact that the ethical superior is majorly insane, and the rest aren't really, is kinda the point to the phrase "Who watches the watchmen". The fact that you never see the phrase in its entirety is because you simply can't ask that question in a superhero narrative.
