Ok I'm a little annoyed. But happy. I just read out some of the new choices in casting for the Wolverine Movie.

And ugh a Wolverine movie? I thought I already had three of them. (The X-men trilogy), Why do I need a new one?

But alright it will happen and likely be cool and full of pseudo martial arts action. And it has Deadpool? YAY! I loves my Deadpool. But he's being played by Ryan Reynolds..... Well I guess that's not so bad. And they found some really really ridiculously good looking TV person to be Gambit. I mean I don't EVER remember Gambit being part of Weapon X but sure why not.

I could rant about this for a long time people, But I won't. But hey Wade is in a movie, that's sweet enough for me.

I don't think we needed a new tv. But I do live with two men.. and whenever we go to future shop they forget they are men. Honestly! GM giggles at the site of all the computer stuffs and Chronie drools and ponders and smiles and scratches his head at all the lovely video games, the Guitar Hero "Play me" stand and TV's.
This has happened with dishwashers as well.




Got home at 5am this morning with the boys telling me they got me a surpise. Now- I was NOT expecting THAT! *strips and oogles the tv* I just hope those laser beams aren't video cameras on the top of the tv o_O.
Oh and Rhystcracker- I still want you in a naked av! DOOOOO IT!

Wee, today was a special day. We had a morning formation in blues, which included an open ranks inspection. Inspection went badly for much of the flight, though some of the demerits were bullshit demerits (one guy with remarkably short hair that visibly came nowhere near his ears or collar got a haircut demerit), and now we get to do another inspection on Saturday evening, with formations every morning next week.

An added bonus? It took so long to inspect us, we all ended up late for class. The class leaders who also happened to be officers (and thus outranked the sergeant running the inspection) were not pleased, and filed paperwork with the squadron complaining that the airmen in their classes were forced to run late for a poorly-timed and time-consuming inspection. I'm curious to see how this goes.

In other news, I wrote my feelings in a note, along with something I wanted to say in response to something she said a few weeks back, and got it to my friend via a mutual friend (would have given it to her personally, but I was running late to be somewhere else and she was running late to get to where we were hanging out). About an hour later, I got a text message from her letting me know that she still considered us to be really good friends.

Not exactly a "I just dumped this other loser, and now we must have hot sweaty muscle-exhausting monkey sex!", but far better than something along the lines of "We can't hang out anymore" like I was afraid of.

Tomorrow I get to decide if I want to hang out with her, our mutual friend, and her bf at the on-post Friday-night beer-and-pizza-night, or if I'm gonna spend the evening getting shitfaced with a guy I don't really like, in order to see him off before he goes to his next base.

In other other news, I talked to the guy from the local Boy Scout council, and he sounds very inclined to let me volunteer my time as a Troop Commissioner for one of the scout troops that meet just off post. Basically, my job will be to run back and forth between the troop and the Council, communicating needs the troop has or resources the council has, and helping the troop work with local community to do stuff.

Incidentally, once I get my White Rope (more on that later if anyone is curious as to what a White Rope is) then I will be doing more or less the same job for my squadron, along with some other stuff. Fun, huh?

Just go with the flow Chronie. Some things in life we should not question. Just be glad that Deadpool isn't being played by someone ridiculous like *thinks* Mike Tyson :D
