Honesty is always the best policy as long as you are prepared for failure. Bone crushing, Soul punching failure. And a healthy dose of embarrassment to boot. I'm rooting for you, and while life is not fair or kind it has it's ways of working things out. And if you aren't prepared for failure then say nothing and ride the wave of what might have been.

This has happened with dishwashers as well.
