Wanted to drop in and say hi! Not new to the site, but I haven't used the message boards very much (if at all from the best of my memory). I'd suggest fetlife.com and finding people local to you. Munches, classes, etc. are a much better, safer, and more rewarding way to learn than chatting to people online (though that can be educational to an extent).
