New game: change a letter, change the story

Finnegans Wake . . .
Finnegans Bake - An old family recipe makes Oona the star of the potluck.
Finnegans Cake - Tim's eyes popped out when Moira popped out of his birthday treat.
Finnegans Fake - His forgery of the Origin of the Harp almost passed for Maclise's original
Finnegans Hake - Fish and chips were Coleen's ticket to Tim's heart.
Finnegans Lake - Where skinny dipping was the rule.
Finnegans Rake - He was a tinker and a womanizer, but that's why Cait Finnegan loved him.
Finnegans Sake - Tim hadn't money for the hospital, so she took to the streets to help him out.
Finnegans Take - His share from the heist got him into the finest brothel in Dublin.

This is such a fun thread! Thanks @StillStunned

"Clara and the star" - an EV story at a Spencer Tunnick photoshoot becomes...

"Clara and the tsar" - espionage and seduction in 19th century Russia.

"Son of a Preacher Man" - an outback first time tale witha twist becomes...

"Sin of a Preacher Man" - a dark LW tale about a minister trying to cover up his infidelity.

"Oh no, there's only one bed!" - my essay on my favourite trope becomes...

"Oh no, there's only one bid!" - a fetish story about a deeply underwhelming charity auction.

It's a daft and addictive game. I'm still surprised by how many people have joined in.
I was playing it over breakfast with my wife and kids. My wife called a stop when I suggested a new title to the professional autobiography she's been writing sporadically about her time as a broadcast journalist. Her working title is "Is this thing on?"

No prizes for guessing what I changed it to.
