This is something that I had touched on in a different story. But that story was about something completely different, so I didn't go into it more.

Yes, it's in the detail! That's one of the reasons I only glossed over it in the short story I'd written. To give the OP what he'd asked for, I see it as Mom trying to convince the son that it's a good idea. I keep thinking about the details, trying to figure them out. But instead, my mind races to the sex, my hand ends up between my legs, and I lose track of the story line.
