The only problem with it snowing here is all the maniacs on the capital beltway. I had to go to work today and it took me just over twice as long to get here. I passed over a half dozen single car accidents on the road. I contribute it to two factors. One. There were only two salt/sand trucks on the road the entire time that I saw. That of course is dependent on the the budget they have. Two. People around here think that since it is just a little snow on the ground, they still can go 85. There was one car that was on the outer loop and crossed into the dip in the median, climbed up a small embankment, careen over the guard rail and flip over onto the inner loop. I didn't see any ambulances, so I hope everybody was ok. Oh well, I will get off my soap box now.

Snowing or not, it's my firm belief that the beltway just gives off waves of stupid. You get near the beltway and suddenly you are in the midst of some of the worst drivers in the world ... Excepting Boston of course.
