New Milestones Thread

My first story was just published.
It's been favorited 5 times.
I have 6 new followers.
there were 6 comments in the first 12-18 hours, and they were all positive.

I was actually really concerned because the style is a little different. The first 2/3 of the story is 1st person male POV. the last 1/3 is 3rd person with a POV that bounces back and forth between the 2 female characters.
It's categorized as lesbian because the sex is between the 2 females, but the story is not a lesbian love story. I was sure I was going to get flamed for this.

Let me guess, you finally followed your first author? :ROFLMAO:
The 1 is actually the official Literotica account. I don't follow other authors here because I'd become stressed whenever I saw a notification of a new story, feeling obliged to read it but knowing I don't have time to read them all, but then feeling bad about having to decide which ones, etc.

I seem to be working my way back through time. My newest story will be based in 1959, beating a previous story based in 1965.
I've got one that starts in the 16th century... though it ends in modern times. Seems like sleeping with a queen of the sidhe can result in a little time displacement. The Interrogation

I feel weird reading stories from authors I know from the forums.

I think, but I'm not sure, I have one story somewhere that was set in the 18th century. I set Written in Blood in 1901 and The Case of the Rich Man's Wife in 1946. I have a few unpublished stories set in the 1920s, and several are set in the 70s and 80s. And a flashback in Sam and Kim in the Beginning is set in 1968, though most of the story takes place in 1977 (maybe 78).

I don't follow anyone in this publishing account. Jo has an account, and we follow nearly all of you from there. I did notice I was following someone. I don't know the writer, and I'm not the one who hit the follow, which means Jo was on my account and followed them for some reason. I need to unfollow them and let her follow them from her account.
Not the whole story, but the sexy bits, yeah.

Oh man, that is taking things way too seriously. You have no obligation to do anything here. Look at it as a fun creative fantasy space to enjoy as you wish. I don't think any author would feel you have an obligation to read their story just because you follow them. I follow well over 100 authors and read only a fraction of what they publish. It never occurrs to me to feel guilty about it. There are plenty of things to feel guilty about. That's not one of them.

Hey, *I* know that. It's just my brain that doesn't listen. It nags me often enough as it is. I don't need it waking me up in the middle of the night to ask why I haven't caught up on my reading.

I can't read stories with either my real or pen name in them.

I came across one recently where the main couple characters have my name and my friend's name, and she also fucks a guy who has my husband's name. It was deeply unsettling.

I once sat down with a mainstream novel, and the opening lines were an almost exact description of what I was doing at the time, down to the day, time and my name. I almost starting looking around for hidden cameras. Really weird.
