New Story Advertisments

I'm going to put up a link to my latest story. I've been hesitating to advertise it. Now, I figure, "Aw, what the hell..."

I don't know who the trolls are but I think I know their motivation. I think they do it to lower other peoples' scores in hopes of boosting themselves up the ratings. I've been watching. I see the patterns.

As far as I'm concerned, the voting system is flawed on several levels. I'm not out to start a discussion on why I think so. Suffice it to say that I'm not in it for the ratings or the prize money.

I'm in it (writing stories) to get people hot.
I know a group of on-line friends who come to Literotica.com to read my stories and others similar but are not necessarily members themselves. They contact me privately and tell me what they think. When they write and tell me that they got horny reading one of my stories I put another notch in my keyboard.

I play this game for the personal satisfaction of collecting notches in my keyboard. So far, I have over a dozen.

But if you want to objectively judge your approval ratings by statistics on this site alone, you can safely ignore the voting/ratings system and look at the readership numbers. I find that the great majority of readers are silent in the voting and commenting arenas. But, every time your story gets read, comment, vote or nothing, it gets counted.

Readership is the real measure of success, AFAIC.

New writer, first story

Hi all, I'm new to Lit and to writing erotica so would welcome any and all feedback on my first ever published story :)

First Chapter Appeared

The first chapter of "Staring At The Sun" has appeared today and I would appreciate all feedback, good or bad. It's in the Novels and Novellas section so it's an ongoing story with about 16 chapters in all.

It's a story about marriage and relationships and although there is (married) sex there, it's not primarily erotic, so if you're looking for a quick stroke story, it might be better to check out other stories on the site!

I'm looking for constructive comments so please don't hold back with suggestions or opinions.

Not really, the thread in this forum attracts more new authors, because it is sticky, while the one in the AH trends toward established authors.

Lindsay's Surprise was delicious. I just wished it was longer, harder, faster, deeper...um, er, I think I need alone time now.

Thanks SirHugs! Hanna from "Lindsay's Surprise" is one of the roommates in the Junior Year series, which has the first two chapters on Lit and 3 more awaiting confirmation. Your stories are a little long for me to read at the moment, but I'll get to one of the new ones as soon as I have a good half-hour or two to enjoy it!
