Oh wow! As the inspiration for the story I think it's only right that I publicly state that this is way hotter than I could ever have hoped and has left me a happy bunny! I'm new around these parts, and new to erotica in general—though I have written non-erotic fiction in the past, and also enjoy non-erotic, non-fiction writing.

Now, I've posted my first "erotica" on the site, and have already received quite a bit of feedback. It's been wonderful; I certainly never expected get so many views and comments.

New Story Post...

I just attended my fiftieth high school class reunion on July 11-12. Since it’s reunion time of year, that inspired me to dig out an old class reunion story I’d written quite some time ago, re-edit same, and submit it for posting. My reunion experience was quite different (completely tame) from that of Mary Jane. Ah, but one can fantasize, endlessly.


THE STORY

Mary Jane flies home to attend her twentieth high school class reunion. Throughout the evening, the class “round heels” renews her old reputation and then some. Several old girlfriends try to keep up with her, but it’s no contest. Mary Jane is the Queen Slut.

I'm telling the story of a sex life in stories that are brief, amusing, passionate, sometimes a bit gross, but hopefully always human and revealing. To put it bluntly, my character has spent a lot of time in bed with a lot of men (and one woman) in exotic places and under interesting circumstances.

I apologize for the delay in getting more of my Route 66 chapters out to you. A number of my fans have been asking for them. The overall popularity of the series is dropping off rather rapidly. The new voting system has also played a role and has had a negative effect on the voting that many if not most Lit. authors have suffered.

I don’t know if my writing has degraded or if same-old, same-old has taken over and readers have simply lost interest. The net effect on me has been a loss of interest in getting back to posting more chapters. But, I do intend to finish the series all the way to Santa Monica and a bit beyond.

The scores have been high at 4.64 up to 4.83 except for the ST. LOUIS chapter at 3.92. But the number of votes on an average of 5,916 downloads is only a total of 54 votes and those two totals are spread over the five chapters. I don’t write to get high scores, LOL, but the scores and total number of downloads are an indication to me of the interest level of readers.

In summary, the remaining chapters will eventually get posted.

AMARILLO is next up and will be posted shortly.

Sequals...

Quite a few readers of my stories, dare I call them fans, are asking about sequels to some of the stories I’ve written. The simple answer is: I don’t normally do sequels.

Sequels, at least for me, don’t usually do very well. See my previous Route 66 submission on this thread. I don’t know why, at least for sure. I usually lose interest in a particular story line anyway after it’s finished. Also, a lot of my stories don’t lend themselves easily to a sequels. I usually write stand alone, finished pieces. I just don’t plan on sequels.

There are exceptions to my rule as there are to most rules. Once in a while I get a thing going and can’t seem to end it and it goes past 10,000 words. My Route 66 series is one such example. Again, see my previous sub on this thread. There are a couple of ther sequels listed in the Author's Story List.

In summary, don't look for very many sequels from me, sorry.
