Welcome Cutie, welcome. Don't bother about the typing, you couldn't possibly be as bad as I am. Remember we are here to have fun. So have some.

You never know Swash...

Do please stop by the Cafe for a free drink and a moment to meet the rest of the crowd.

Hi, I am a 29 year old female who has found this site to somewhat exciting for me. I have been writing what I feel is erotica for some time now, just for myself. After finding Literotica, I was tempted to submit, did, and now two of my stories I am proud to say are on Literotica.
I intend to be around here, submitting, for a long time to come

C. G. Raven pays a visit

So this is where you two have been off to.

I like it a very nice place and feel.

I welcome all the new comers to Lit. It is a place to explore and find your writing wings. There are outrageous places Like 'Cafe American" and quite place like here to be welcomed.

Ari is a great host! At times serious at other ......... times a devil. Always creative but never stuffy.

Welcome, explore, and enjoy.

Hi there! I'm new!!

I just joined Literotica and am really looking forward to meeting some of you. :) I found this site a couple of months ago and it took me all this time to finally get my nerve up to register.

I can't wait to get started! Someone show me the way!

Hello Cinderella!
The Café Americain is a good place to get started and meet some of the people you might post with and there is always a free drink for newcomers.
The Story threads are the heart and soul of the place and new ones start every day. Or if you see one you like, send a PM to the person who started it and maybe there's a part for you!
Anyway we're all here to have an unrestrained good time.
There's no place like LIT.

Welcome

Thank you for the welcome, CGRaven. I am hoping that it was in part intended for me. I hope to be able to better use these forums as I become more intelligent in their use.

Might as well get this out of the way.
Call me Caspai, everyone does. Well, everyone here.
I love the poetry, but don't expect too much of that from me. I am like the art lover who never picks up a brush. I love poetry, but have never been able to do it myself. Short stories, though, I have a weakness for those...
Hope I'm not too much of a shock for some. If so, just don't read me. I won't be hurt. For those of you who are brave, if you keep your eyes open, you might just find a few surprises...

Virgin

I feel slightly ignorant. I just noticed that I am considered a virgin in here and wish to thank whoever is responsible for that. It made me blush and giggle. What do I have to do to get back to my status before I found these boards? Spoken like a try newcomer, I know, but I really do need help.

My profound thanks to all that give advice and information to me.

Please check my submissions in the New Stories section. I am trying to be a writer and write about things that interest and excite me.

Sabineteas -
First, let me say "welcome" to the boards! Second, you will be a virgin until you have 30 posts under your belt, so you have 26 more to go. You will get to the "Experienced" level before you know it!

Posts..experienced

Sexy Chele, thank you. I am really embarrassed now, since I found mispellings in my earlier post. I appreciate the information since I really don't want to be virgin forever. ( I blushed again when I read what I just said.)

If I wanted to put a link from my posts to my stories, Sexy Chele, do you have any idea how I would do that?

I really want to have more opportunities to get my work in front of people.

Thank you ever so much for your help!

The best way to point readers to your stories is to include the link in your sig line. (accessed through the "Edit Options" in the "Control Panel") You can actually include favorite quotes or other things there as well. Sorry, I don't know the exact way to go about it. However, this question comes up all the time. I would suggest you go to the "How To" board here at Lit and either do a search or ask there. There are many people (most of whom do not frequent the SRP board) who know how to do this. Weird Harold can be an excellent source of information on the "how tos". If he is on line, you could PM him and ask. (you can check to see who is online at any given time, by going to the main bulletin board screen and checking the names at the bottom - it will list all active members who are currently logged onto Lit.

Good luck - I'm sure you will do well here

Links to stories

Thanks again Chele. As you can see, I really need help! Anyway, it is nice to find someone who cares and is willing to offer. That is one the problems with today's world. We are too tied up in our own little patch of it that we cannot see by that.

This is getting too deep<laughing>. Anyway, I do appreciate the answers and guidance.

By the way Chele, have you looked at any of my stories? If you have, I would be interested in any feedback you have as to how I could improve them.

Sabineteas

You are quite welcome. I think you will find the community here at Lit is quite open and friendly. All that is really asked is that people are friendly and polite - if you get those 2 things "nailed down" others here will open up to you.

I would be more than happy to take a look at your stories and offer feedback - in a purely unprofessional way! :)

However, if you are truly serious about writing and getting feedback for it, I can suggest 2 things:

1. The Story and Poetry Feedback board here at Lit. It's place where you can post your story and hear back from various people here at Lit. This can kind of open you up, so to speak. So one must be prepared for the good and bad, literally. :)

2. The Story Discussion Circle forum here at Lit. Interesting concept - you submit your story for discussion by other authors. Your story comes up in rotation and is also based on the amount of participation you involve yourself in discussing other author's stories. A great place to go to hear what other authors have to say about your work. And because comments are limited to those who participate, people usually offer some really good constructive words as well as encouragment. There is a "how to" by the moderator, Mickie, that helps a great deal in reviewing other people's work.

I would suggest either one if you want serious review of your work, and ideas on improvement. I would need to warn you, though, the people who involve themselves in these forums are not a "pat you on the back no matter what you've written" group. They are seriously concerned with helping you write the best you can. That's about the best advice I can give to any "budding author". (Which, most certainly, include myself!)

hi

hi. i'm new here...sort of. read the site a lot, but don't usually post.

i guess i'm a virgin, so all you "sluts" out there (trust me, that's a good thing), come and get me...

Story---review

Thanks again Chele. Since I am so new, I appreciate the advice. I will check out the Story review area.

Sluts? Did somebody say sluts? Actually would you accept a LIT guru, Cinemaniac? While you're thinking that offer over, why don't you head on over to the Café Americain. I'm the manager and I'd like to buy you a drink.

newbie here

Hello,
Well this is my first post anywhere. I just stumbled on to lit. I'm Superg, friends call me G. Not much else for me to say.....I'm sure the beautiful ladies here will change that sooner or later.

G:D

My dear G - Please allow me to welcome you to LIT. Come on over to the Café Americain thread. We are having a party for Cutie Lillie's 100th post. I'll introduce you.

Celestia

Hello everyone! I am new to literotica and am so happy to have been directed here what a wonderful site. I have been writing for, oh god, a long time and to have a place such as this to post it is wonderful. I have just gotten involved in posting to the bulletin boards and have a short story with an editor right now. I am loving this. For a long time I role played in chat rooms and found that very flat and undeveloped most times, but here I have the chance to spend time and really create characters. Oh, and I can't wait to have enough posts to get rid of that virgin status, bleh.

Welcome to LIT Celestia. Please come by the Café Americain and the roof garden for yoor free drinks and kisses!

Another new guy on the block. Heard about you from a friend
and had to check it out. Great writing, but my eyes are getting
tired from trying to keep it up...sort of speak. Looking for some
correspondence, and maybe a local pal/playmate in CT. Haven't found many from this area though. If you're out there let me
know by PM. Nice to know there are others with my interests, apparently everywhere!
