Dear Literotica folks,

I'm still, I guess, a virgin here, though I've been around for over a month (after making unregistered visits here for another month or so). Would that I had more time to spend here....

I'm grateful to those who've been so welcoming to me already through feedback on a story I wrote and some RP posts I've done. My work situation right now is far too time-consiming to be a very good or regular correspondent, unfortunately (or to get on to Chap. 2 of the story I started....)

So, just know that I think this is a helluva site and the people are nice and the writing is often wonderful and the beer is good....

Hello!

Hi, all. I'm not really new to Literotica; I've been a lurker for over a year now. A busy schedule has kept me from posting regularly in the past. I'm trying to remedy that.

I'm an English teacher. My most time-consuming hobby is my interest in opera. I'm a light lyric coloratura soprano and perform locally. I get many of my story ideas from opera plots, in fact. Like the immortal bard, I'm a thief--only not nearly as talented.

My special interest in erotica lies in period or fantasy pieces. I like stories that are sprinkled with some keen psychological insight, a bit of philosophy, and, most of all, a good old-fashioned sense of humor.

I enjoy this site very much and I appreciate the many talented writers who continute to tantalize and tempt us with their tales.

Always love to meet a fellow opera buff! I'm always amazed at how other people who love the art form are usually die-hard addicts like me. I agree about sticking together for there are too few of us. (I have been concoting a secret plot for years now to accomplish an operatic world takover and I desperately need to increase my network of undercover spies.)

"Le Nozze di Figaro," "Lucia di Lammermoor," and Massenet's little known "Thais" are the three operas that come to mind right away when I think of favorites. Act I of "Die Walkure" with all of that incredibly sexy music between Sigmund and Sieglinde, is also among my top favs. I like it all, though, and find most opera music pretty irresistible.

Thanks for the invitation to Cafe Americain. I'm going to take you up on that. I'd love to be part of a thread based on an opera. Keep me posted, please.

I am an eclectic who has not come yet to full appreciation of German opera...though GOD KNOWS I've tried...even sitting through the entire Ring cycle.
I guess I'm a pedestrian...wishing that Puccini had written on and on and on.
Turandot, LaBoheme, almost all of those.
I like some earlier things some Handel, Mozart (Well who doesn't!}
Thais...umm yes
I also love the Russian opera's...
Sadko, Boris gudonov...

Probably kind of late to posting here now-page 11 already. Been coming to the site for about three or four months and starting doing some SRP. I don't profess to be a writer. Somebody bitched about not being registered so my fiance and I registered, finally, as a couple. Seems I do all the writing, mainly about her fantasies and she has so many. We've been together two years now and will one day soon marry. Some of the fantasies have been carried out and many remain just that-fantasy. Since I have to do most of the writing I end up playing the part or role of a woman for her. Hasn't been easy. We have four stories currently going on about her. Two are pretty nasty and the other two, with other people contributing seem to be coming along great. In real life, I'm an attorney(I don't think I have those eyes that drip with sarcasm-story DAWN-although I love that line-my finance pointed it out to me) and she's a nurse. She would kill me if I put our ages in here, but she is absolutely beautiful and always( I mean this) passes for 15-18 years younger than she really is. Actually, quick story, I had a cable guy at my house hooking up digital TV for me. He saw her picture in my bedroom and asked if it was my daughter(recent pic). Actually, we both look younger than we are although to keep herself looking even younger, she makes me keep this silly gray beard I came back with while hiking in the mountains. We really are up to anything and if any writers want to do a story featuring her and her fantasies, she really likes that. One was done by a very experienced writer and is posted: Forbidden Ectasy under nonconsent.
