I am new to lit as well. I have been reading and posting a few things mostly I am just naive, and bored and alone for the first time in 20 years. Its nice to be able to ask a question or read answers on questions I have wanted to ask and don't have too. The stories knock my socks off and inspire me to write on my own. So mostly when I have met someone and fantasize about him I now write it. Sometimes I have been bold enough to let them read them,
other times they stay a secret hidden in hot warm depths. Someday I will have courage to submit some of them. Although mild compared with many, they are still of me. Lit has taught me alot and made me feel more confident in that knowledge.

Well after 61 pages I am also posting my hello. I am a newbie to writing and found this place by accident. I started by writing intimate letters to a friend and he thought I should share more. So .. after swallowing my fears of not measuring up, here I am! We all have to start somewhere.
It is a challenge not being overwhelmed by the more experienced posters, but I am up for it. I am enjoying everyone's threads and look forward to many more .

I found myself showing someone I had met recently,who is already a fairly accomplished poet, the newest best thing in my life, and then realized I really didn't know much about this place,nor the folks who dwell herein. I am finally taking the time to look at the obvious, that a site which offers such a rich and multi -textured array of avenues and destinations, would be in the hands of people as diverse and talented as the site itself. I have waited a fair to middlin' long time to use the wordsmiths art as an outlet, pretty damn sure you couldn't be in better circumstances to get your feet wet!! Thank you!!

And if you think those two sound like they are
