Soooo.... It took me almost fifty posts before I worked up the nerve to come in here and say "Hi! I'm new!"

Used to think I was a pretty spiffy writer - now I've seen what some of you guys are capable of producing I'm hoping that I still will be with practice!

Hey all. I figured it was my turn to come forth, strip down, and spew forth a hot, creamy welcome. I registered a while back, and have just been sitting here and reading (one of my favorite users is LilAshley).

I'm kinda shy, so I don't really know if I'll end up joining in on any stories on the board. But I do enjoy reading them. Plus, I'm always up for some private role playing. Heh.

Hi all!

Just opened up the site this morning to find my first story published! Hey, for an old man of 55 that's a big thing! I have written for personal enjoyment all my life and never tried to publish. I know this isn't an interruption of that, but it is a sharing of my material. That's a big thing too. This is an interesting place and I hope I can contribute. Thanks for being here!

Go through the threads listed, find one that interests you, either jump right in (if the thread-starter has indicated that's okay), PM the thread-starter to ask if you might join in or. . .(drum roll here, please. . .), START your OWN thread. Yikes! I know that's the scary one.

If you do decide to start your own thread, you're going to want to flesh out the story as much as possible in your opening post. Let people know what you're looking for, how you might want the story to go. . .the more you give your fellow writers to work with, the better chance you have of making your thread survive.

If you're still lost and confused after that ramble of mine, please feel free to PM me with any questions. Good luck and good gaming to all the brave new souls of Lit!
