Take a few and read Hecate's Guide at the top of the board. It gives a good idea of what's what and good general guidelines.

Take a look at all of the stories of course, but those marked as closed are restricted to those involved. Any others are possibles to join. Just come up with a name, character bio and 'entry' then post it as OOC (out of charcter) and ask if you may join in the story.
I suspect you'll be welcomed. *s
Any assistance I can give you just PM me and ask. I'll do my best.
BTW, I'm a male.. *s* Gender neutral names can make it difficult to tell.
As I don't speak or read 'elven?' how about you?

Ohhh, two more things... If you find an OOC not using a story name it's an open chat area so drop in if you wish annnd be warned.. this is damned addictive, take if from an addict. *L

Thank you for your warm welcome, Phoenix, I appreciate it. I am female, 23 (about to be 24), and I speak and read several dialects of "elven". I said I was a Tolkien freak, after all. My user name means "healer" with a reflexion adding the meaning of therapist, ear to listen, shoulder to cry on, masseuse and lighthearted friendly person in bed all in one. I will most whole-heartedly take your advice on threads and stories. My mate, Vandal Heart, has been on here quite some time, and I've heard nothing but good things, but I only recently got the time to attend myself. Have fun everyone!

Look around. Read any story that sounds interesting to you.
Read Heacte's Guide at the top of the story/thread list so you have a general idea of what's going on.

Now that you've done that if you found a story/thread you like and it's not listed as "Closed" make up a character name, a brief bio for the character and a plausible reason for the character to show up in the story. That done just post it all as OOC (out of character) and ask to join in.

Any OOC threads you see w/o story names attatched are chat areas and open to all to visit and chat.
