I am a dark-haired and loquacious female in Germany. I am truly impressed by the calibre of writing I have seen at Literotica. Ariosto, I must applaud you personally on the sheer range of your portrayals. In fact, virtuosity (if not virtue) seems to be the hallmark of many of the writers here

Currently I am undergoing a baptism by fire in the thread called The Ambush. I know that a good writer can handle anything, but a solo gang rape is taxing even my creative powers

Which abbreviations are you referring to? The main ones are:

OOC (Out of Character): means that the player has something to say that is not to be considered part of the character they are playing. Either to ask a question, or state a fact about a situation. There may be entire threads devoted to OOC - if the threads are large or have complicated plot development.

IC (In Character): means that what the player is writing is as though they are the character.

Hecate, our illustrious moderator for this board, has written an extensive amount of dos and don'ts on the topic of Role Play that I personally found very informative when I first came here. It is always the very first post at the top of the thread - the thread from Laurel. I would strongly suggest that anyone new to Role Play - either in general or here at Lit - take the time to read it. It's really not very long, and is well written.

And may I extend a hearty welcome to all who have joined since I last posted here. I hope you enjoy your time here!

This is an unexpected pleasure, finding a site like this. I've been reading the stories on here for awhile, and I've finally decided to jump in. I even started one of my own!

Oops, I realized I haven't introduced myself. I'm a 29 year old account executive (read salesman), who loves the outdoors and the in (especially the bedroom). I like to write bad poetry for my beautiful wife... Not that I intend it to be bad, it just usually turns out that way.
