Hope it goes/went well, Sassy. Rockland. Had to scrape ice off my car this morning. warmed up to 60s and then back down to about 40 and windy at the soccer field. Damn. I am not sure I'm ready for this.

Seen some flurries yesterday. Cold this a.m. then wasn't bad this afternoon and this evening was warmer before temps dropped. Here comes the sniffles and colds.

Depends on what you like. Lake Placid is classic. There is also Gore, white face, and if you just hop across Crown Point at Lake Champagne, there is Killington VT, Stowe and Smuggler is close by too,

Watkin Glens is a good place to go in the late summer / fall. Wine festival, Balloon rides and the race track

Manhattan is nice when it is not loaded with tourist.
