i have an idea, but it's not for a thread. i like you people here lol and i'm thinking. why don't we all set a time and open up a Lit room in Yahoo chat or something? then we can use audio, or have short little RP's that take place quickly, or just talk. it would be cool useng voice and hearing you people. anyway just an idea.

You guys should try Trillian, it rules! I switched after my computer-guru brother told me off for using AIM 'cause of all the nasty security breaches AOL installs on your pc with AIM (they're still active even if you aren't running AIM, it just has to be installed - what a bitch!).

Anyhow, Trillian doesn't have all the idiotic security breaches of AIM, or Yahoo, and it allows you to use IRC, MSN, ICQ, AIM, and Yahoo (well technically anyway - I'm having trouble with yahoo, but I don't know if that's Trillian's fault, mine, or Yahoo's lol). It still lets you use all the features of those programs, like direct connections with AIM, and you can sign-on and off each of the IM mediums individually.

I've heard from others that they had a lot of problems with Trillian crashing, but I picked up the latest version and it hasn't crashed once, so maybe that problems been fixed.

what kind of security breaches? I've been having trouble with explorer lately, perhaps this may be the problem....

I don't understand half the things my bother says to me lol, but I got this much out of our last conversation: AIM purposely creates breaches in your security to that its developers can check out how much you've been using it, what you've been doing with it, and what you've been doing on the internet.

Now that sucks by itself, but the real problem is that these breeches can be exploited by others who can use them to gain access to your entire computer (whether AIM is running or not) and do pretty well what ever they want to it, like sending spam via you're IM programs or email addresses, or deleting all your programs.

I don't remember what he said about explorer last time I asked about it, other then that explorer has lots of holes allowing people to log your internet use and insert nasty programs n'stuff.
