Day 14

The entire area which was waxed .... is STILL as smooth and stubble free as it was fourteen days ago.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

My little bit of advice regarding waxing, is get it done by someone who does it a lot. Your 'little round the corner' salon is not always the best option.
I used to frequent a great cosmetic studio who were expensive but with one girl waxing my legs as the other assaulted my beaver, it was all over so quickly and I had no ingrowns ever.
Giving into the conveniance of a girl who works from home, and two blocks away, was slow, too chatty for my comfort when someone is at your nads, and obviously not as good a technique as my ingrowns were quite bad afterwards.Worse than with the razor.

Shaving again for now, but I use a new one everytime, and shaving gel.Every 3rd day, to prevent a rash. But I live alone most of the time anyway.
Next week, back for a brazillian, and a touch up of my permanent eyeliner that I had tattooed on 3 weeks ago. And that girls, is worth every cent and suffering.

Has anyone or know anyone who had light therapy for permanent removal?
Am curious to hear reports of that, as it is advertised a lot here and I am willing to try it if I hear any positive reports.

Question for the waxers/pluckers.... Is it true that the hair grows back sparser and the hair shaft is finer? Cause that's the only good reason I can think of for waxing instead... (I don't usually have an issue with ingrowns.)

It can take quite a few sessions of waxing to achieve those results, but, yes it is possible.
When a hair is removed by any method, damage to that individual follicle & it's dermal papilla, or 'bulb' can occur. One damage does occur it either will cause the hair to grow back in a weakened, finer condition. Or, sometimes the individual hair doesn't grow back at all. The possibility of this type of result occuring can and often does increase over time with repeated removal of the hair.

A good example would be my brows. i've been shaping my brows with a combination of waxing and tweezing for about 25 years. i used to tweeze every other day when i first started shaping them. Now i tweeze or wax every 5-6 days, and the hair that grows back on that sixth day is much finer, and very sparse. In some areas of the brow, where there was once hair, none grows back.

Hmm. Very Interesting... So maybe there is something to be said for biting the bullet (or three!) and waxing instead.

Thanks for the info!

Maybe you should ask for the help of some PYL's to hold you down during the process ;)

Day 18

The entire area, which had been waxed 18 days ago, as of yesterday had shown evidence of regrowth/stubble. It's time to wax again!

Pros:
1)There is not much hair at this time. Some hairs have started to grow back already, some have not, as of yet.
2)There are no reds bumps present/no ingrowns.
3)Waxing at this point would be a bit less painful than it was 18 days ago, as there would be less than half the hair to remove at this point. --This does NOT guarantee that those hairs will not ALL grow back, it simply means SOME are taking a bit longer than others.
4)my Master appreciated and enjoyed the effects of the first waxing so much that He has agreed to tolerate a few days of stubble, so that the hairs can gain enough length and then be waxed away again.
5)Many of the hairs which have grown back in are much finer. The ends are tapered, rather than blunt (as occurs with shaving) which makes tolerating the stubble much more comfortable.

Cons:
1)The hairs which have grown back in so far, are not long enough today for removal by waxing to be successful.
2)i'll have to endure the stubble for at least 3-4 days before the hairs will gain enough length for waxing to be successful.

i decided to SHAVE the stubble away, last night. Just didn't feel like waiting to wax (i WILL be waxing again in a few days though). Normally, by the next morning after shaving my mons, the skin is already red, itchy and irritated. It's perfectly fine so far, no itching or redness etc ...

The pain of removing all of the hair from my mons by waxing was WELL worth the effects! This will be my method of choice for now. Razors are fine by me for underarms (i get MUCH irritation from waxing THERE).... and for my Legs and mons ... i'm waxing!!!

LOL, well I decided I was going to quietly retire to our roomhttp://www.smilies4you.de/content/sonstige/c45.gif to do the plucking thing today. Hmmmm, he missed me and came looking and offered, then insisted I hand over the machine, spread my legs and let him have his way.http://www.smilies4you.de/content/beliebt/a29.gif To say I was less than petrified would be an understatement, but he wasn't taking no for an answer.

http://www.smilies4you.de/content/beliebt/a6.gif I tried begging, reasoning, pointing out he had much more fun things he could be doing....all to no avail. It had its moments, and I realised that being a masochist in this situation was a disaster as we needed to keep everything dry.http://www.smilies4you.de/content/beliebt/rotwerden.gif Good thing is for most of it the going was good, the usual numbness set in from time to time, and surprisingly at a couple of points I was so relaxed I began to drift into slumber.http://www.smilies4you.de/content/muede/a21.gif There were moments of tension though, and a couple of slip ups, but it was easier overall than doing it myself. Now does that mean I will be asking for assistance next time?http://www.smilies4you.de/content/augen/undwech.gifNO WAY!!!http://www.smilies4you.de/content/augen/56.gif ROFLMAO, think this is one of those situations which will require a lot of mental work for me to get to that point. He did say he thought I was extremely brave and good though which in itself makes it all worthwhile.http://www.smilies4you.de/content/liebe/a49.gif

i feel for you Catalina. Felt that moment like it was my own. This is IT. This has decided it for ME. i'm NEVER getting one of those machines.

That would never work here either. i know this to be SO TRUE that i have never even tried begging, reasoning, ect.
There were moments of tension though, and a couple of slip ups
OH, i was wrong ... perhaps THIS is IT. Owwwwww ... slip ups??? GEEEZ. i THINK i FELT that !!! --Just not an area with which i can tolerate slipups, snags, pinches, etc ect. i jumped in my seat just in imagining.

i couldn't have gotten through it any other way myself. What else can you do in that situation other than be brave & tolerate? Of course, crying, whining, begging & pleeding can be done, but i'm certain it would never work here with my Master. It [the praise] DOES make almost everything worthwhile afterwards. That and the realization that it's DONE and over with. Phew!!

i'm soooooo glad that my Master has so far demonstrated NO interest what so ever in helping me with tweezing and/or waxing !!!!

LOL, I know it sounds daft but I think I prefer he do it with the epilator than the tweezers. He did get them for a couple of strands he felt were giving him too much trouble and that was enough to make me promise anything as long as he stopped and went back to the mechanical demon.
