3:12am

Good 3AM NJ!

Ugh.... So about an hour ago-- the closet shelf in my bedroom collapsed.... waking me up.. The closet was being cleaned and too much weight was put on those metal shelves... and it collapsed..

Fast foward 30 minutes.. and I notice the hall light is on.. so I go check it out... and one of my kids (10) is missing from her bed... Not downstairs... so now I get dressed to start searching the house... she is in the basement.. with her ear to the wall of her step-brothers bedroom.. "checking to see if he's up"... Meanwhile- I am now full of adrenaline - having panicked over her missing from her room.... Her: "I didn't know going down for a bottle of water would be such a problem and I just wanted to see if he was awake."

Ugh... now to try and get back to sleep....

Good Saturday morning NJites! If it gets any more hot and humid here this weekend, I'm going to skip the shower, soap up right in the living room, let my own sweat rinse me off, and the heat dry me. Sheesh. If anyone's having sex this weekend, I sure hope you're doing it in air conditioned comfort, 'cause even simply moving around is making me sweat like a pig today.

What a day! I finally got back to sleep... When I got up this morning the closet was emptied onto the bed... and I went over to the Home Depot to get parts to fix the closet. I re-designed the closet along the wall that fell and spent most of the day putting it togther.

I have AC- but you wouldn't have known it in the closet- It was hot and humid and It took too long to put up the new shelving.

Anyway- the closet has more shelves and everything is back in there.

Everyone enjoy the storm? It's now cool out- and I don't have to refill my pool- in fact the water level is too high now!

What did everyone else do this weekend?

Summerbrew was fun, much quieter this year thanks to mother nature's insistence on washing everyones cars...for 2 days! But it was nice nonetheless. I am enjoying being in PA with my BF for the remainder of the weekend...we get to spend so little time together these days.

Summerbrew was fun, much quieter this year thanks to mother nature's insistence on washing everyones cars...for 2 days! But it was nice nonetheless. I am enjoying being in PA with my BF for the remainder of the weekend...we get to spend so little time together these days.
