Nephew and his family had to evacuate,but allowed back home at noon today,mum is safe,perched with her Rosary in her house

Evenin all...anyone got anything exciting planned for the weekend?

I'm working Sat am, and being the good grand-daughter on Sunday and taking my Gram blueberry picking...not sure what I'm gonna do with blueberries..I don't really like them....have to meet my soon to be ex and atty on Monday....then heading to PA to spend the next 2 days with LP.

Sounds like a fun weekend! I have a weekend of parades, fireworks and an over-hyper 9 year old! Wanna switch?!?! LOL

I live practically on the ocean...so yeah, no flooding here.... My kid sis works in Trenton, said it was a bear to get out of on Wednesday...but she got home safe...
The house in Reading is safe...BF said the flooding was in downtown...and we luckily actually live in the suburbs...so that was good. He said the plant for the newspaper was flooded, so all the carriers (my stepdaughter) had to hand stuff the papers!)

good afternoon all! did something new and "adventurous" and went to the dmb concert by myself. it was awesome! the part that sucked was getting out of the parking lot (45 minutes) and then being directed one way....to the Ben Franklin bridge. Oh yes, going through Philly at 12:30 at night!!! I didn't get home until 3 this morning. Then unfortunately, woke up at 7:30. What is wrong with me?

The sun is shining and it's nice and warm....and i get to go into work for 4 hours. oh well...

You rock, Slo! I really admire anyone who get ups and goes to experience life on their own terms, and doesn't have to wait for someone to do it with them. Way to go, girl.

And there are few things more confusing as far as I am concerned than trying to find your way around Philly, especially at night. I am sure it makes sense... it's just never made any sense to me.

woo-hoo..am invited on a boat Tuesday night to go into Boston Harbour and watch the fireworks from there.Supposedly they are to be the best in the country,seen NYC and Washington DC so have to evalueate them,thru Guinness eyes,lol..Safe weekend to all
