Sorry folks...as the "special lady" in question, I think what he said is being misinterpreted. What he meant to say is that there is a "special lady" that he can talk to WHILE he's a work...aka Me. LOL

And for the record...he works while we chat...just a lucky bloke who did his time and can now enjoy a more relaxed work load.

And I agree Slow. The American dream IS a lie. Because even making the federal minimum wage puts you UNDER the federal poverty line. Does that make sense to anyone? But...don't get me started cuz I'll go off worse than Jersey. I've had to deal with the government recently for assistance...and the American dream only exists for certain people...and I ain't one of them...cuz even though I only have enough food to feed my daughter, and am about to get kicked out of my apt, and get my car repossessed...I don't qualify for assistance. I have NO income...but according to the State...I don't qualify. Now I REALLY need someone to help me out with this one, cuz I just don't get it!

See...told you not to get me started!
 
and there is not one on here,that wants to step on your soapbox darlin,tell you what,when you do get back to working,ask them NOT to take out for assisatnace as you are not qualified to receive,so therefore,so not give..Good Luck,I really mean that
 
Afternoon to All !

It's a scortcher out there - had to mix some concrete up for a couple of posts - whew -- what should have only been an hour or towo job was almost 5 hours - had to stop and mop my brow and get into the shade for a bit -- not to mention the pretty pink skin i have on my shoulders now ! :D

Ya.... It's been dead... I sorta gave up.. Only so many unanswered PM's you can deal with,
 
kinky, the fact of the matter is that the females of lit get so many unrequested pms that after awhile pm's become like telemarketer calls. Annoying and ignored.

If I'm having a conversation with someone and I feel it's more appropriate to take it "private" then it becomes a pm. Otherwise anything I have to say can be said in a general thread.

Nothing annoys me more than a pm from someone who a. has never posted on a thread i visit or b. has never even bothered to post on lit pms me and simply says "hi" That wouldn't get you noticed in a crowded club, what in the hell makes you think it would get you noticed on Lit???

ok, off my soapbox now. It's Hump Day everyone!
