Momma....sometimes it's a bit rough to find people willing to meet. Most people have a fear of the unknown. I for one am all for meeting...I just generally make it a rule not to meet on home turf. Too much of a chance of it getting out what my play style is.....

now i smell clean, now i have to make my clothes and sheets smell clean, drop by work for a bit, run some errands down rt 17 (anyone who has traveled rt 17 knows that that's partly a chore in itself) make dinner, read a book (nothing worse then a TA who dosen't read what the students have to, actually driving on 17 might be worse...) have some me time, then go to bed and be ready for class bright and early at 8am tomorrow (poo!)

Nope. This is Jersey. It never ends. In the summer you get the visitors and the crazy vacation traffic and in the fall and winter you get the school buses and the work traffic. It just goes on and on without end.

But look at the bright side. The last day of what we think of as summer, Labor Day, was one of the very nicest days of the summer, like a little gift we got, and yesterday and today the weather has sucked, so at least we're not getting teased. It's like the climate decided to go back to work and school with us.

Personally, I think this is the best time of year. The crowds are gone and the weather (when it's nice) is beautiful, hot without being too hot, and it's great to play hookey for a day at the beach with nobody around.

And I love sleeping in the fall with a little nip in the air. No more heat and humidity. I love piling the blankets on.

Call this my little ode to September and the fall.

How far away is June? I actually wished it was summer camp...never done that before.

I agree with Jersey that sleeping in the fall is the best! Windows open, light breeze, covers on! The best.
