I went to see Godspell at the Paper Mill Playhouse. What a great place to go see a play, but what a pain....almost got lost driving!
Anybody got plans for the weekend? I'm working, of course, Sat. night and then going to an apple festival on sunday. I sure hope it doesn't rain!

My nomination for worst road in the state would be 287. Not that I am on it frequently, but whenever I am, it's always jammed, and always under construction. Second worst would be the turnpike extension to the Holland Tunnel.

Hey everyone. Been absent for a week, or more, and just dropping in to say hi.

Pretty brutal week. Been working like a dog, really focused, and I am drained. Week started when I learned that someone I worked with last year passed away after a long battle with cancer at age 48, and although we didn't know each other well, he was just a good guy you couldn't help but be emotionally and intellectually attracted to, and I don't make friends with men that easily, so I am feeling this one hard.

But on the bright side, at the end of the week I learned that two friends who have been seeing each other for more than 10 years snuck off and got married, so the week was bookended by tragedy and hope and faith. What a roller coaster!

After this thread got moved to the Playground, it's slowed way down, but I hope we don't lose track.

a great day in Virginia after all the rain and flooding over the weekend..A nce ride and walk on the beach,with a good cigar,eased the mind and relaxed the soul..hope all is well in Jerseyland..Tir Na Nog!!

Just saw your post about the car accident. I hope LP is OK in the end and am glad both of you were not more seriously hurt (as if this isn't bad enough). I got hit head-on by a drunk driver once; it takes your breath away the way life can change on a dime.

thanks hon...yes...so far we're both doing "ok" able to walk, talk, and have all our body parts, that's what's important at the moment...I jokingly offered him a BJ over the weekend...and he turned it down...said it would hurt too much...LMAO NOW I KNOW he's one hurting puppy.

'lo there! happy sunday! am so glad that the weather is turning cooler...I love hanging on the couch with a blanket, dog curled up next to me....cuddled in my sweats. Wish that someone special was here to cuddle with me, nuzzle in closer---go upstairs...mmmm
