I can take "moon shots", too!![]()

Oh Man I missed this thread!
Okay so here is the story. Every morning my kitten wakes me up at around five am. I refill his bowl full of food and then he eats and runs off to the living room for a few hours. I did not know why until I started staying up with him. Apparently he loves to sit in front of the window and watch the sun rise over Brooklyn from Manhattan. I thought I would share the pictures that I took with you all if that is okay, I uploaded them to my blog to make it easier:

Some motorcycle racing. I think I've shared at least two of these in the past....

And a cloud/sunset (although this is a sunrise) offering
Great shots Phil. And I do love me some motorcycle racing![]()
Looks like Ray finally got his links worked out.Love that sunrise!
Terrific images everyone.
The 'sun rise' pic Ray looks as though it has been hanging in a gallery. Is the pic in a frame? or is it a digital frame?
Thanks V, it's a digital frame.
I got caught in the thunderstorm last monday as I was close to home. Atleast I got some great pictures out of it!

This one is really intriguing, Kitkat. Almost looks like you've manipulated it, what with the green just on the rocks. Doesn't matter either way. Nice bit of photography, as are all of the other 'Big Misty Apple' shots.
I wanted to try this just to see what techniques I should use, and let me tell you, taking pictures of a mirrored object is a bitch! It reflects every damn thing including your fingers and other objects in the room. This kind of subject really compels you to control the light and force it to be only where you want it to be...
Ekserb, I've saved your post for future reference. Really appreciate the behind the scenes look, and also admire your dedication. Is your name really Bond, James Bond?![]()
