I'd like to continue with the dominant theme for a bit. But I'd like to do it without the props -- portraying the dominant/alpha factor with just my body and the light. That will be harder, I think.
P.S. - I made just over 120 exposures in the course of shooting this series. I bet there are some other "keepers" among them.

The black fabric from the suit looks silky smooth. I love the texture in the vest.
The b&w film really captures the mood of the shoot. Superb photography...as
always.![]()
Happy Sunday to you!
I wanted to let you know that this series of photos is definitely my favorite to date. I did like your bath/candles pics as well as the cowboy series but these are by far the best.![]()

holy wow cowboy...or should that be sir?...
i saw your new set yesterday but found i was having a hard time articulating a proper response. what a fantastic surprise change of pace to see this side of you. perhaps these images just strike more of a chord with me but i look forward to seeing you explore this theme as thoroughly as possible as well as all the 'keepers' from this one *grin*.
this one is my favorite so far though. you look more at ease than in the others. i like that it's just you without the prop. just you ...undressing, confident, in charge... ready to get down to business...

Does that help?

Critique? *wipes drool from lip*Oh my, yes. It helps immensely! Thanks so much for the effort. Sincerely.
There were actually two separate jacuzzi shoots, on 4/20 and 4/23. But since they were so close, I lumped them together. Photos and discussion of same start here.
The very first post on Page One of this thread contains a pretty thorough index. I link not only to individual photos, but also to the place in the thread where that particular sequence or set first appears. I invite you to check it out. There might be additional photo sets you've missed.
Thanks again for the critique!

*Sigh* This thread is my happy place.

Must be something in the air . . .
The last couple of days have been a bit rough over here, and this morning I find all these encouraging/supportive words.
Y'all must be psychic or something.
Thanks.![]()

from me and a big Thank you. Everyone. Sincerely.
We feared that a loved one had a heart attack this week. Ambulance ride to the hospital & all that. Two solid days of getting poked & prodded & stress-tested & imaged & monitored six ways from Sunday.
Now they tell us it WASN'T a heart attack after all. Can't tell us what it WAS, of course. But they can tell us what it WASN'T.
So we had some drama and some excitement. But no real harm done.
