*faints!*
Marry me!

I was up at 5AM on a Saturday, and was feeling sorta playful. So I'll share something very special to me:
Slow-Cooker Pot Roast
2lb beef pot roast (smaller/flatter is better, so as to remain covered by juices)
Campbell's Cream of Mushroom Soup, one can
Lipton Onion Soup Mix, one envelope
Place the beef in the bottom of the slow-cooker (aka "crock pot"). Pour the dry soup mix directly onto the beef. Add the mushroom soup directly on top of that. There's a un-indexed secret ingredient for those interested enough to actually read what I write. PM if you find it, but don't ruin the secret for others.
Let this cook on low for about 8 hours and you'll have falling-apart tender pot roast. This takes about three minutes to prepare, and it's completely ready by the time you get home from work. If you like, you can add some potatoes and baby carrots for the last 1/2 hour or so (on "high"), or you can prepare those separately. Some Southern-style biscuits and you're good to go.
Enjoy.

ass That definitely sounds like a recipe for today. I'm out of that secret ingredient though ... could I borrow some of yours? I can't imagine why![]()
It's a very hard secret ... and a very tasty ingredient ... but I have a feeling that if they were to mix up the recipe and give it a few stirs ... they'll all be coming for itOK, so it's a HARD secret to keep. I can understand that.
But we don't want to diminish the fun of those who come later . . .![]()
