Answer me about US gun crime.

Until you do, you are the coward and the liar.

For all the UK cases involving guns, they do not compare with one weekend in Detroit, do they?

We have so few because gun controls work except for drug gangs? You have them too? And far more likely to use guns than anyone in the UK.

I cannot see that real gun controls are ever likely to work in the US because so many people are against them. That doesn't limit their effect in other parts of the world. But you don't believe the data and continue to lie.

Gun crime exists because prosecutors don't prosecute offenders, not because there aren't any laws against criminal gun usage. One needs only to look at the Federal courthouse security guard who was shot during the rampage of 2020 whose murderer WAS RELEASED WITHOUT BAIL to understand that. Ditto for gang shootings in whatever metro you want to list.

Gun control can't work here because we enshrined the Right to Keep and Bear Arms in our Constitution. Our founding fathers decided that us having guns meant more to liberty than bending over and taking it like yours decided to do.

In that regard; Winston Churchill had more courage in his fingernail parings than your entire society does today. You must stand up to those who want to kill you. If you won't, YOU'RE the damned coward, not the guy who tells you to stop crying because the bad man hurt your feelings.

You might not have noticed, but in the UK very few people want to kill anyone. And those that do are usually caught and prosecuted, with the help of the general public. They can and often are tackled by the general public, far more than appears to be the case in the US. Who are the cowards? The ones who clutch their guns, or the Brits who tackle gunmen, terrorists and knifemen unarmed?

As for UK courage? Why did we send people to die in Iraq and Afghanistan alongside US troops? If we were cowards, unwilling to stand up for freedom, we would have just said 'Leave us out. It's not our fight.'

But we didn't. We were there, side by side with US troops and our war memorials show that we gave lives for it.

Brit taxes are so high, Brits can't afford little things ... like bullets.

Depending on your income, you could pay LESS taxes in the UK.

UK civilians don't want or need bullets.

Our military is sending all its ordnance to Ukraine. Even the British Army is short of shells and ammo - but our manufacturers (and US manufacturers) are working to keep us supplied. The Defence industry must make a profit.

We are spending more on bullets than at any time since WW2.

Then if that's the case why do you "NEED" a gun ban?

It also seems to me that those guys who "clutched their guns" saved your asses 80 some odd year ago. Maybe I'm wrong and you should have told us you didn't need our guns or the lives lost.

We need gun control to stop the UK becoming like the US.

As for 80 odd years ago. The guns were used by the Home Guard - a well-regulated militia. Unfortunately they have an unwanted record - they killed more Brits than enemies. At first, most of the Home Guard were equipped with shotguns, and we still have a large number of licensed shotgun owners - subject to police checks before acquiring them and check-ups while they still have them.

All those criminal laws you already have aren't good enough to keep you all in your place? You need more laws telling you that you can't rape, rob or murder anyone despite you recently saying that you Brits are totally "law abiding" types of folks?

The bad record of your Home Guard sounds like you shoulda put some guy with a gun in charge so he could teach your boys how not to "accidentally" shoot their own neighbors and fellow soldiers. Strange how that works...

Of course we need laws. So do you. Rape still happens far too frequently and our prosecution record is very poor.

If everyone was law-abiding, we wouldn't need laws yet in the US gun crime is too frequent. Enforce your own before you attack other countries.

The laws we have were introduced with public support and consent. That is how democracy works. It is a shame that in the US, any form of gun control can't get public support despite school and mass shootings.

Edited for PS: You admit you have gun control and licenses for fully automatic weapons. How many fully automatic weapons have been used in mass shootings in the US? Gun control works!

Blaming the victims for poor prosecution of criminals sounds like a bad way of doing business.

Of course the victims of crime are easier to catch and prosecute so you've got that going for you. We can't have victims running around letting everyone know that their government and law enforcement sucks now can we?

Where did I blame the victims, Derpy?

As I thought, you can't read.

Wow, that is really stupid.

Lay off the carbon, derpwad. Wtf lol

Lol.

Plausible deniability isn't your forte. Mostly because your denial isn't plausible.
What a shame I didn't blame the victims. If I had, your rant might make some sense.

As it is, it is conclusive evidence that you are deluded and reading things that weren't there. Possibly false attribution but whatever - Sad.

Apparently your "THAT'S NOT WHAT I SAID!!!" knee jerk defense network has been activated.

Particularly when it isn't what I said.

Your false attribution doesn't work.

Ypou are just flailing about trying to justify your earlier post - which, as usual with you, was a lie.

Sad.

If everyone was law-abiding...

^ THIS is victim shaming. It's even worse when coupled with...

One case that has previously been prosecuted was that of Tony Martin, who killed 16-year-old Fred Barras after he found him and his accomplice Brendon Fearon, 29, at his home.

Martin shot Barras with his unlicensed shotgun in 1999, and was jailed for life.

He later had his sentence reduced to five years for manslaughter.

It's not uncommon in the UK for this to happen either. Yet all those people did was defend themselves from intruders. And your "solution" to the problem is to disarm them or make even more of them either more victims or prosecute them as criminals while the real criminals continue to victimize your neighbors.

It's DISGUSTING. It's even more disgusting when you consider that the reason you believe your bullshit agenda works is because you live in a "safe" neighborhood so you don't have to worry about that kind of thing.

You are the worst kind of person. You commit true evil while claiming that it's for our own good. And then you LIE about it to try and weasel out of your own words and intent.

Good guys with guns aren’t doing shit, and the rough men don’t stand ready any more. Police departments are shrinking from lack of recruits.
Time to realize that the gun violence problem is easy access to weapons, and nothing else.
