Beautiful! The first I heard that song was the Ramones version.
Yeah, I love their version, too. Far superior for barreling down the highway. But the Waits video is so amusingly deranged (and Bone Machine is one of my all-time favorite albums). It's kinda funny, btw: The Ramones are still young in my mind's eye, even though they're dead, while I've thought of Tom Waits as an old man for 30 years; the whole lot of them, however, were born within three years of each other.Beautiful! Oh yeah love me some Tom Waits and Ramones. And everything I've heard from the new Stones sounds pretty damn good. That song is kickass.Yeah, I love their version, too. But God damn . . .
Excellent choice! I love a lot of the Fat Possum stuff.
I only saw him once, towards the end. But at like 80 he put on one of the longest sets I’ve ever seen! It was fantasticThe first time I saw him in concert I was excited beyond belief. Like a little kid at Christmas. And I was also at least 20 years younger than the average of the room
Yeah, it ain't bad. Come on down, mang!Hey, this place seems fun.
Hahaha dig it! I think I vaguely remember this one actually.Well don’t mind if I do. A Verizon outrage killing my Spotify access yesterday prompted a dive into my iTunes library and reminded me of some old cuts I ain’t listened to in a minute . Like this jam that feels very appropriate to this locale
