Obama for change?

I'm still trying to decide if my inclusion is a good thing or a bad thing. Drinking is good, so I try to assume that it is a good thing.

It's very flattering of you.

It's a good thing.

How you doing tonight?

Not too bad. Too much road time this week, but I'll get over it. Have to reschedule the vacation days that I worked. The trouble is, I am running out of days left in the year.

There are never enough days -

I'm off to bed - directed a concert tonight - need sleep.

Kisses -

I'm torn on this subject, if the gov does not step in what will that mean?

I do belive that the uaw must go, the pension must go, bond holders need to take a hit (10 cents on the dollar), there needs to be a massive pay cut for everyone, if one is let go from the big 3 - no more paycheck.

not sure who is more in fantasy land, how the big 3 operate, uaw, or in the past when enron was around

re: the big three bailout...

hmmmm. Read that the max. stock value for GM is about 6 Billion.

The hell with loaning them money. Let's just buy them. Do what needs to be done at a cost that the taxpayers are going to bear one way or the other anyway, then sell the stock back to the private sector at a profit.

It's better than the idiot state we have in Citigroup and AIG now. The taxpayers are potentially on the hook, debt wise, for something like five times the stock value of the company... with a potential return of 8%.

Warren Buffett got 10% on a much smaller investment.

I am concerned for my brother, because he is retired from Chrysler. The benefits were great while he was working, and they still are. The pension plan is good too; probably better than my civil service one, and he got paid more while he was working too.

Maybe that's what the problem was and is.

yeah, the bennies were far over the top...and far more than the free market would allow. the union had too much power. even with this new mini bail out gm can go under. maybe it should? what if the big 3 did go chapter 11?

i'm sorry but the pension should needs to go and the freaking job bank program.

a car cezar, oh this sounds like a great idea. lets let the goverment run the big 3...after all when anything needs to get done just get the goverment to do it. next year when the big 3 needs a bail out instead of the 34 billion they will ask for 134 billion. goverment is never the solution its part of the problem.

people that are pro left can't are drinking too much of the juice from Jones town. they just can't see the truth or look outside the box. all they see is what he or she wants to see. i would say the same for bush supporters but don't think that anyone supports bush.

not sure who is worse, pro-right or pro-left people... I have to say that the night time anchors for msnbc and fox are wacked. the media is fueling the great divide and preaches so much negativity

i wish that I had the passion that most due and can follow blind. but when i see the person infront of me jump off the bridge, i just don't follow. what is wrong with asking why? ... and what he or she is doing?

What I think is alternately funny and scary about the right wing reaction is that if we Democrats acted like this, immediately questioning the decisions of the authority they had elected... we all know what their first response would be....

"Why do you hate freedom?"

I mean, c'mon! When YOUR guy was in charge and WE questioned HIS actions... you all accused us of being "anti-American." And Palin was STILL doing that as recently as Nov. 1st.

Remember what your response was when we complained about the actions of W, elected with a FAR smaller mandate?

"If you don't like it, don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out. He was elected, fair and square
<<<something you even said during the silly circus in Florida>>> so now you have to deal with it. This is what the majority wants and that's the way America works."

Well, guess what? Mirror time, baby.

Besides, the man still won't take office for seven weeks yet. Don't ya think you ought to withhold judgment until there is something to judge?
