Obama's Accomplishments in 2014

I think his point was that nobody with their ideals has won since Reagan. I'm not sure how accurate I think that is.

Not remotely. You can clearly see the difference between how Warren who especially for an elected official is radically liberal and Hillary Clinton who's basically a Democrat because her husband is and because she's a woman. Otherwise she'd fit in just fine on the otherside of the aisle. (Especially if you, like me thinks she shuts up about shit she knows the base doesn't want to hear) or the difference between Romney who would fit in fine on the Dem side, and Bachman or Walker.

Ugh. There's this theory that blacks are suckered into being Dem. And that Dems are really not even as liberal and concerned as it would seem. But blacks are like...scared or wary to vote Republican. Mainly because the economic theories do not cater to the average conditions of the minority. I don't know what to do myself. I just wait for some of my family's tribal grants. And try to work. And take advantage of the education opportunity. And not get pregnant :)

On facebook today in his comments section some idiot posts "I want to see legislation introduced to outlaw all abortion!" What an idiot. Not a snowballs chance in hell of passing. Not a snowballs chance of being signed into law. not a snowballs chance of being upheld. Just shut up, idiot.

Exactly.

Roe.vs. Wade will never be overturned by any Supreme Court. It's another talking point of the War on Women lie invented by Democrats.

^^^^ This right here is an example of phrazing is everything especially in politics. You start out by saying with some disgust that there's a theory that blacks are suckered into voting Dem. Which is ultimately an opinion. You go on to complete your thought with the fact that the voting trend certainly exists in your opinion. You just think there is a "good" reason for it. Vette would tell you that those economic theories that we are rightfully wary of would eliminate poverty and bring us up.

The Dems are not particularly liberal and certainly only marginally concerned, they however don't make what can only be seen as a concentrated effort to make things worse and that's the issue at present.

Blacks also seem collectively more likely to be against gay marriage, against abortion and pro-religion as a whole. Like Hispanics Republicans could clean up if they could keep their foot out of their mouth for more than two seconds about either of those demographics. Not as well as they'd do shutting up about religion and letting all the young people who feel very strongly that the only reason to be against gay marriage is to be a bigot and the only reason to be against abortion is really to control women. You can gussie it up all you want but the goal is to restablish control.

How is it a lie when Query just said a friend of his family who is or recently was in Congress said it?

No. It was one of the people on his facebook page calling for it. There is a fringe of delusional thinkers out there.

My apology, read that wrong.

Still since I can bring up actual legislation that's pretty damn crazy or people saying shit that's pretty damn nuts it doesn't actually change the point.

I have encountered ideas that blacks only agreed to gay marriage, or diluted their opposition to it, because Obama did.

As for the Hispanic Republicans. I have my own theories, I may be alone on here but I as a New Yorker who mainly circles myself with Latinos know that Hispanics have some...complexes, when it comes to the "American dream," the white mainstream, racial identity, etc. So you get the Ted Cruz's and Marco Rubios. The jesters for the ultra, insufferable conservatives while falsely representing the Latinos, for their support when they see someone who identifies with them. Not understanding their intent. Like my ex who is Irish, says Bill O'Reilly is the poster child for Irish; he "represents" the Irish people while doing the conservative dirty work. Allen West does that for the blacks, for example.

I agree with the bold.

:D yes. Someone still said it.

I haven't seen much evidence of blacks softening towards it so much as Obama kind of officially announced the surrender that's going on nation wide. It not a good hill to die on at this point because you'll just be throwing your life away. And I haven't seen Obama do anything that I would count as positive.

Obama: Yeah. . .I'm not gonna bother you people anymore.
Gays: You people, what do you mean you people?
Obama: No, I'm not even playing. You got me to back off don't push it.
Gays: Damn.

:D yes. Someone still said it.

Oh, yes someone said it but I was in the wrong there. 100% my bust. I dun goofed.

No thoughts on the Hispanics?

I want to see legislation introduced to ban all campaign donations. Not a snowball's chance -- at present -- but that's no reason not to write my Congresscritter about it, or post on his Facebook. The more people do that, the more thinkable, therefore possible, such legislation becomes.

No, what's idiotic about the poster mentioned above is that he is on the wrong side of history -- there is not a snowball's chance America will ever grow more anti-abortion than it is now.

No thoughts on the Hispanics?

Not particularly. I think they stay Democrat for the same economic reasons Blacks do despite it running counter to their religious concepts.

I could speculate that coming from countries where the haves and have nots are separated much more starkly than they are here gives you a great appreciation for trying to keep them somewhat in check.

Hispanics mostly vote Republican though. Obama sort of made a record for being the first dem in some time to garner Hispanic votes. We all know why of course. Not because of his greatness, but...yea. His promises, his DREAM (Act), his...skin.

But make no mistake. Hispanics will jump Dem ship like runaway slaves on the Amistad.

Why? Does it make them economic leftists?

Citation is needed. I remember that statement as being about Bush, that it was huge the percentage of the hispanic vote that he got.

Why? Does it make them economic leftists?

I believe it does. First while I don't think "free stuff" is really an accurate way of describing the scenario I think it's difficult to see the kind of crushing poverty that involves you not having access to water and not being and economic leftist. At least as much as that term implies understanding anything vs believing that Dems are going to help poor folk and Republicans are going to make you earn it.

I was just about say yes, it was specifically in regards to Bush. And I didn't catch it from a link. It was during a class lecture. But the statement has recurred over the years of my academic career. However, if I can get some time to find that perhaps it still is true with Hispanics, I will go post a link...

Fuck you, stupid!

You ignorant fuck. Go here and find out how much more than fucked up you are:

'In the 2010 midterm elections, 60% of Hispanics voted Democratic, while 38% voted Republican.[5] In 2008, 67% of Hispanics voted for Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama, while 31% of Hispanics voted for Republican presidential candidate John McCain.[6] In 2006, 69% of Latino voters supported Democratic candidates in congressional races, while 30% supported Republican candidates."

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hispanic_and_Latino_American_politics

Did 2/3 of your little Wikipedia research just post about Hispanics mainly voting for OBAMA WHICH IS WHAT I JUST SAID!!!

Please. Go to bed you moron.

I feel bad you guys had to deal with him for all these years :rose:

You said they mostly vote Republican which is ignorant bullshit, stupid.

I already told Sean after the fact, that I meant specifically about Bush. What else do you have? You still failed to prove me wrong; all you did was confirm what I said: that Hispanics mainly voted for Obama.

Is your prostate hurting you, or did the hooker cheat you? You're in a bad mood today :(

They cant fight it because the courts are full of leftest put in by the democrats

Even if that were true that would be just because Democrats get elected more because we're more in line with America as a whole.

As a gays....

That's exactly accurate. Making it a state issue is.... as good as we're gonna get at this point. It redirects our hate toward McConnel. Who is still pretty hardcore "fuck the fags", so it's a much easier brand of hate to justify.

And it's weird that so many black folk are anti-gay marriage, because so many black people have the gay.
