Sorry to be such a butt, but you can asks the others, I did the same to them:

Goddess of Music

OR

theatre

OR

learning

You start with one aspect, pretty please?

If I may be so bold. I think just goddess of the arts would work. That encompasses most of what you want, and makes your character stick with just one aspect, instead of branching out to two or three others.
With that one title you could do music, or theatre or art, or sculpture, and be in tune with nature's beauty as well as with the beauty of life and society.
Just my opinion.

Thanks for the idea, so it will be goddess of the arts

That's four, take out or refine and take out another one: Can implant Knowledge into worshipers head, as well as attitude to pull it off.*

And you're all set to go!

By refine I mean impart script, poem, muiscal notes or lyrics

To all players:

Once we are all up to the same week, have shrines in each other's cities, and one temple at least you may pick:

3 New Minor Powers

OR

1 Major Power

Aspect related only!

We have two new players, so please give them some time to get into the flow...AB as Death should be quite exciting, and I have great hopes for Chrisim's Klia also!

I'm going to putting up a longish post to catch my Alyiss up time-frame wise this week.

For Kane it would be like being able to cause an earthquake between his army and the other army. Of course, this might make Mother angry, she put a lot of time into that field....

You could cause a large group of near dead warriors to rise up and still fight, ignoreing their woulnds. Of course they'd die right after, no hope.

You could create a beast of fearsome perportions.

The new powers of the Eternal Gear...

1. In his great Celestial Haven the great cogs of Schloss Gearheart grind together, shedding black dust, the Gear can now give small quantities of this black dust to a priest within one of his houses of worship, this dust does not react well to fire...

2. If his followers assemple a metal sculpture to his specifications, the Gear can animate this statue for a specific purpose. These sculptures cannot stray further than a single day from the site of a shrine or temple dedicated to the Gear.

3. If at least 10 but no more than 50 soldiers or workers assemble and dedicate their battle or work to the Gear he may enchant their weapons or tools so they are absolutely perfect for one hour. Equipment is capable of achieving 100% efficiency (which is otherwise impossible). The Gear can do this for one such group once a day.

I read something about otehr races. I would like to join and add a sub race of cat people. I hope this will help me get me into the plot faster.

(So if you allow this let me know. Otehrwise I'll make a new god latter.)

The Fers are more or less human but with cat ears, slit pupils (Otehrwise human looking), tails, and a thin to medium layer of fur. They do not have claws or pointed teeth. They are about half a foot shorter then a human. Like cats and humans they adapt well to most climets. They do wear clothing wich is a useful tool to survive in harsh weather. (I have no clue if they can breed with humans.)

God is recycleing souls but doesn't wish for the world to repeat it's self, so god has allowed Olas to make a second race with souls. Olas's passion for cats formed the general concept for the Fer.

Name: Olas
Aspect: God of the Fer.
Human apearence: A larger Male fer about 6', covered with black fur with green eyes.

minor powers: 1) Sumon and control a feline (Tigers, house cat, ect. The fer do not fall into this group.) 2) Move threw shadows. (His black fur blends into the darkness and he moves with out trace.) 3) He can give gifts of great agility to mortals.

Animal: Black Cat
Plant: Catnip
Symbol: a cat statue.

One last note about the Fer they are weaker then humans but with very keen hearing and night vision.

I have a concern with this item at this time. It could advance the culture too quickly as they try to figure out uses for it unless the amount was sooooo tiny they couldn't.

If you wanted to create a new race you would have to start out with literally the "Adam and Eve" of the Fer, which means you would want to keep them somewhat hidden until their numbers grew to sufficent amounts.

If you deside to do this I would say that in exchange for a shorter lifespan (20 years) they could have a litter-type off spring of upto four.

Or, alternatively, you could begin as a god of something like...theives or spies...and when you gained a major power use it to create the Fer as your personal servents/messengers/gaurdains with the same Adam and Eve requirement, but not the life span/litter handicap/benefit.

OR you could use one of your powers to change some followers into Fer....there's a thought!

Anyone elses thoughts on the matter?

And it's nice to see you here!

It's enough to make a sort of "Holy Hand Grenade" every once in a great while. It's treated as a relic and once used wont make another appearance for years to come.

Everyone?

What do you think? Keeping in mind that this is the beginning of the bronze age

AND

That Bunny says it would take years for enough to collect to make one.

First, I think it is so cool that I have created some trouble as the God of War already. This is fun.

Second, I think it would be better if the Fer were created from a major power. Otherwie, it would take too long for the ciety to develop, and that would put Olas at a big disadvantage, since a following can grow vastly for the rest of us in 20 years. After all, it has only been a couple of weeks in the time of the thread and look how we are coming along!!!

Third, I am a little weary about this black powder as well. This is only the Broze Age. Something like this would kind of throw the thread out of whack.

Just to let you know kamalw1, I'm not forgetting you want to talk to my character, he's just gonna get on equal footing first, then answer that PM you sent him.

& did you like how I did things Auntie Dear????

Very nicely done and I'll even let you slide on the iron gate, since iron hasn't been invented yet but it won't matter much if only the dead and gods are seeing it.

If you want to create demons that would be a major power and please see what I said about the Fer.

PS, they would be called demons tho some of them be good, because angels are a part of the managements heaven.

Okay look at it this way, sure it's gunpowder which we with our 21st century knowledge have a clear understanding of, to these people such a thing would be a magical item saved for the most dire times, a blessing from the Eternal Gear and they would not think to replicate it's creation. If they wanted a new one they would have to make a quest to some distant corner of the globe to find the cast-off dust of Schloss Gearheart's cogs. They wouldn't be going, "We can make a hundred of these by mixing sulpher and so on", it would be "We used the Holy Fire of the Eternal Gear to slay the terrible ogre king fifty years ago, it's secrets are revealled to he who would make a pilgramage to the Mountain of Really Far Awayness and so on"

So I could use an ability to make humans into the Fer and then expand the race outward from their? (Keep in mind this power is neither spontaneous generation, as a human is required to become a fir, nor would it be a forced action the fir canidate would have to both fallow Olas and be willing to undergo a devine transfermation, wich would take atleast a day maybe longer.) But I agree thats a big power so I will save this for latter

Okay for the new Olas
God of the Hunt
Apearence: A man wearing a green cape dressed in leather with long blonde hair.

powers: Summon and Control Felines, Movement between shadows, and giveing good or bad fortune to hunters.

Animal: Black Cat
Plant: Rose
Element: Flint
Symbol: Arrowhead.

Great frist post, and a few fine tunes:

You automatically get a temple. It's small, bare, etc...but it's yours. It's your focal point of power for the time being and anchors your soul to this universe instead of your birth one.

Have a plan on how you want to worsiped.

Make friends with the god who shares your city.

You might want to help the bards etc enthusie and rally the people for the upcoming war and use your gift to taunt the ememy into making rash mistakes.

Polite do you mind if I make a small village to start in? I figure that better suites the hunting life style.

Cats

A few refinements:

Might want to make your symbol more spefic like a jaquar, cheeta, or invent a new breed of hunting big cat. Otherwise "black cat" invokes the image of a house cat. Just don't pick tiger as Justice has already claimed them as his concort of justice and as such would not be under your control if under his.

Your Fer would take on some of the characters of the totem animal, and since becoming Fer would require the ultimate faith please limit it to your clerics.

Clerics, by the way, can be male or female and most religions don't bar them from marrying and having children. Two Fer parents would have Fer children; but on Fer parent would be fifty fifty or you can deside that only Fer mothers can bear Fer children so that they will be assuredly rasied in the church.

Since you've chosen flint and arrow head as your symbols, I'd say that the Fer, among other things would be excellent archers. And you might want to give feline grace and cast of features to your god. "He tilted his head and stared at me from his slitted catlike eyes" sorta thing.

Now, pick or create a city (I would assume in the natural habitate type of the big cat you chose) and go forth!
