Position: Kyla lived along in a valley between the Falken Peaks (a mountain range near the main city). There is a stream that feeds a small lake and her house is found where the two meet. She lived there by choice. Many people don't know about her. She is the daughter of an Elder on the council, yet they have no contact with each other.

Not to sound like a total nut but if we are going to follow the time line, then we mst also follow the time line from the books, but

Kirk: Alive due to a part from the the romaluans and the borg (ST: the return and all the books after that)

Spock: Also alive,not on romalus (ST: return)

Scooty: Alive. (insite Scotty help build the engines for the enterprise-E and it's class. plus scotty is now working for starfleet agian.)

Pre-Academy History:
Charles was very athletic when he was younger, he graduated High School with 7 college scholarships, but turned them all down to go to Starfleet.

Academy History:
Charles was about mid way thought his 1st year at Starfleet Academy when he had his calling to Starfleet Marines. After basic training, Charles applied for Marine Command School. Graduated Command School with highest honors, 2nd in his class.

Post-Academy History:
After Marine School, His first assignment was Deep Space 3, a small outpost on the Klingon north border. After DS3 transfered to DS9, was Marine Commanding officer for DS9 during the last part of the dominan war, was offered transfer to Marine command school to teach, but turned in down to stay onboard at DS9.

Problem is I have tried to follow a timeline...strict story line on the Portal thread and it has about killed that story off...made me pretty much disillusioned with the whole thing and ready to give up on more than one occasion.

Sorry Trekkies but this one is just for fun and if we goof...oh well.

Here is the final word on the timeline for this Star Trek thread: fnord!


Basically, we are completely ignoring every book ever written. If it happened on any tv series, or movie, we'll probably go with it, but reserve the right to ignore whatever seems difficult or awkward.

The screenplay writers are having to write around things like actor's availablity, or special effects costs. We don't have any such constraints. We're just trying to make a cool story, where we can all have fun pretending to be our favourite Trek characters. Even the poor, wretched, beknighted souls who aren't really Trekkies, , and really don't know trilithium from dilithium.

Indeed. There is really no way to keep all of the various Star Trek sources and by keeping it to the TV shows than all of us who are casual trekkies can keep up.

Being as I'm mainly going to do Barclay for comic relief, I would enjoy being another character. I'd probably not be good at a voyager character as I don't watch the show. Anyone who you think should be represented that isn't, I can do.

Character:Ransitar's young apprentice. A cold and bitter young man who distrusts nearly everything and everyone who is unknown to him, he takes in everything Ransitar says as gospel and can be violent and cruel to those who disagree with his master. He has jet black hair and cold grey eyes.

Cool with people? I thought it'd be fun to be a darker character. If not(maybe captainb doesn't want an evil apprentice) I could be another, more jovial character like:

Name: Peros
Age:Looks mid-fifties but is more than 200 years old.
height:6'3
weight:230 lbs
Character: The longest serving member of the council, Peros is thought to be quite wise although his influence with the rest of the council has waned due to his lack of zeal in dealing with dissenting voices amongst the population. He still is popular with the people, being a loud and jovial fellow with a large booming voice. Balding light brown hair and clear blue eyes.


Maybe I'll be both. Oh well if its cool with folk I could probably handle both if these two can fit into the plans other folks have. RSVP with suggestions though.

just my opinion, but your second character, peros? could be Kyla's father and maybe the other character could interact with her too? i dunno.. Kyla is sorta on the outside, waiting for people to bug her. lol

I agree with Dea, Peros would be a better character. The council's pretty gloomy right now, and for most of them I think it's their normal attitude! I've no objection to Tashran if you want to do that too. Ransitar isn't evil, but he might appreciate studying Tashran's reactions to the world. Actually, it's a pretty cool idea.

I placed the nebula about 65 light-years away from the Enterprise. If it should be further away, let me know and I'll adjust LaForge's comments.

Hey, Isolde or whoever is running this thread.

I was just wondering if you or anyone else was going to be the captured Captain or other personnel. If, not then I'll just be them once or twice and briefly during Peros and his interaction with them. If so, then I don't want to step on any toes.
