Old House Renovation Journal

More rotten floor members, and some under-house excavation today. Lovely. Beats the hell out of not having work, though, and none of it ever is but so bad.

Hope everybody has a good day, and as much fun at work as I do.

Hope your day went well dear....is that news great or what...do you think they have the sniper now!!!

Seems that they may well!!!!

What do you bet they try him in Virginia - they can get the death penalty in Spotsylvania County - piece of cake, too.

Let us hope these are the clowns, and that this whole little ordeal is a done deal!!!!

The Commonwealth of Virginia not only has the death penalty, but is second to Texas in executions. Try them in Spotsylvania County, and I'll bet dollars to donut holes that they'll both get the needle. unless they cut a deal with the kid to bag the old man.

Generally speaking, I am against the state's having the ability to execute its citizenry - however . . . .

Hey mbb..

Hey big poppa!!! What the dilly is??? LoL

Yeah i hope they both get the needle. Altho...i wish torture was legal like in some countries...i'm all for shooting them in places without killing them, and then let a few "villagers" throw a few stones, and let them die slowly and painfully..the needle is too fast, and painless...fuck that. They need to feel the pain that they inflicted on others..that's just my opinion tho. Hell, the Great book says "an eye for an eye" ..

I vascillate on the death penalty. Generally, I am against the state's having and using the ability to execute anyone. It seems a direct violation of the rights that TJ spelled out in the Declaration of Independence, which would also be protected under the Bills of Rights' Ninth Amendment.

And then these two come along . . . .

At least I won't be on the jury, so it doesn't matter.

The Babylonians had a great torture/execution called "the boats". It makes crucifixion look like a picnic. I cannot remember the details but the one described in the account I read took 17 days. Sounds more fitting in the occassional case of extreme anti-social behavior.

Dear Mr. Man,
Are you ever going to talk about that lovely house you are working on?

Just stopped in to say hi :)

*lil trivia here*
I vote for the death penalty! It's to good for them tho
