Old School Musicianship… Rock and Roll.. Jazz… Blues… Big Band even…

Ponder this…

This is 3 guys… performing this live... The oldest one was 20 or 21 at the time… they wrote it themselves.. OMG

Three absolute virtuosos together on stage…

Grand Funk Railroad - I’m Your Captain (live)
This...is 2 Guys.

Me (rhythm guitar, lead guitar) and my brother (Bass, CheesyAF drum machine, Production). I am including it because it DOES include a CheesyAF drum machine. And...this was not "written"...well, I wrote the chord progression. The rest just...occurred. This was a spontaneous one-shot, two-track (over-dubbed lead and bass) recording session (also known as "sesh") that occurred approximately 2:30 a.m. in February, 2012 at my brother's home studio. I created the "video" (grandiose term for what you are about to experience if you dare) which is really just some visuals done Microsoft's free legacy "video editor" app.

You will know it is NOT AI because AI does not include so god damned many missed notes! Why did I "miss notes"? Well, I miss EVERY note that I meet, because they all eventually leave...but...give me a goddam break! I had 1) never touched that particular guitar - if you play guitar, you know, 2) I was too drunk to even stand, 3) this was one take...yes, one over-dubbed track but no do-over's and 4) this was not done for the purpose of...this had no purpose other than two drunk brothers having fun at 2:30 in the a.m. Enjoy, goddammit...and if ANYONE can even get close to why the title? Props.

.....Rush...."Red Sector A"......always liked the guitar/percussion/symbol intro of this song......if this is a repeat post, my apologies!

Almost an Australian anthem, I think. A sad song about the experience of many Vietnam vets. I am not a vet.

Birthday wishes to Peter Gabriel, born this day, February 13, 1950.

I almost posted "Games Without Frontiers" as it's probably my favorite of Gabriel's solo songs, but I had to go with "Lamb" as it's, to me, an almost perfect piece of music. The music and vocals all gel together in a wonderful cohesive mix.
