Ella Fitzgerald - My Funny Valentine

There's like 50 million love songs out there, but not a lot that celebrate Valentine's Day, but there is this one, and Ella's voice is beautiful.

And Happy Valentine's Day to everyone.

Melissa Manchester - You Should Hear How She Talks About You

Birthday wishes to Melissa Manchester, born this day, February 15, 1951. I haven't heard this song in I don't know how long. It was a big hit for her back in the early 80s. Now I have to dig through her catalog and see what other forgotten gems there are.

......Linda Ronstadt....."Anyone who Ever Loved"......there is so many to pick by Linda, although this one does show off her voice very nice, having watched a documentary on her life last night!

.....Van Halen....."Little Dreamer"......always liked these kind of guitar type intro's......and the recording quality was so dam good on this album

really love this duet

Tracy Chapman & Eric Clapton - Give Me One Reason

So many thoughts here for me… first off, I absolutely love the song. Tracy performing with Eric is awesome!!

And when I was playing in bands regularly, I would play this guitar part - I think I was one of the few guitar players who play finger style, so it sounded right. Most played with a pick, and it just wasn’t quite right that way. 🥰🥰🥰

One of those cases where my being the weirdo worked out for me (never using a pick). 🤣🤣🤣

I cannot imagine it was easy to play.
