Blast from the Past!
The Cadillacs - Speedoo

The word "Cadillac" caused this song to pop into my head, and it's probably my favorite Springsteen song. That, and "The River" album is my favorite of his works. It's been overshadowed by several of his other albums, unfairly IMHO

I saw him on the River tour - not in 1980 unfortunately, but in 2016 when he played the whole album start to finish. Saw a few shows on that tour. It was incredible. So many highlights, but I'd have to say the peak for me was Drive All Night live in Los Angeles, the last concert ever at the LA Sports Arena before they tore it down. The band stretched out, the crowd lit their lighters and phones, and we all just let it sit and let it build. What a moment.

Found video of that here:

I started reading a book last night, having absolutely nothing to do with music, but the editor in the introduction made a passing reference to The Dave Clark Five. I thought to myself I hadn't listened to any DC5 in a while so I thought I'd remedy that.

No video this time.....however for anybody whom want to look this up.....its a video called "Under the Volcano"......its about the Air Recording Studio in Monserrat (1979-1989)(a remote volcanic island with a population of approx 12000 people) and the bands whom recorded there.....Elton John, Duran Duran, The Police, Dire Straits ,and the Rolling Stones and they are all featured in this excellent documentary....well worth the watch.....
