Old School Musicianship… Rock and Roll.. Jazz… Blues… Big Band even…

No video this time.....however for anybody whom want to look this up.....its a video called "Under the Volcano"......its about the Air Recording Studio in Monserrat (1979-1989)(a remote volcanic island with a population of approx 12000 people) and the bands whom recorded there.....Elton John, Duran Duran, The Police, Dire Straits ,and the Rolling Stones and they are all featured in this excellent documentary....well worth the watch.....
If you are interested in legendary recording studios, look into Le Studio in Quebec. It was partially destroyed by fire, but the actual recording studio room and building survived. There are multiple Rush videos filmed there (and lots of their albums), as well as April Wine videos. I am sure there are more. I am kind of fascinated with the place, although I have never been there.
