Mitch Ryder - Devil with the Blue Dress On / Good Golly Miss Molly (Medley)

I'll see your Devil and raise you a Mustang, Sally.

Or, as Neil Young put it "Ok, Wilson, pick it..."
I love this track... that bass part is timed so f-ing cool!!! Absolutely brilliant.

Yeah... I'm dancing around and the neighbors might be listening to it too now....

Fine. @TANSTAAFL58 thinks he's on top for that?

Time for some spice... like some Green Onions

Booker T. & The MG's - Green Onions

The coolest Hammond M3 you've ever heard.

Oh... I see. So you gonna be like that? You're thinking "she ain't got the funk... she don't know what's cool... she has no idea what is hip..."

Just for @TANSTAAFL58

Tower of Power - What Is Hip?

Fine. I was going to hold off... because this is just so much coolness... most people's ears can not hardly handle something this good....

Eumir Deodato - Also sprach Zarathustra

Rj, take it easy man

Brenda...you are raising the bar pretty high, but it's time to play.

I had a huge crush on Ms. Tina Turner...Proud Mary

(Thank you John Fogerty.)

Back in the day, when this was new... I remember stopping at some little diner in rural Oregon and finding this on the Jukebox. Blew my little mind (I actually had the album already)...

And RJ reminded me of it... because ... that's what he does.

Van Halen - Dance the Night Away

Lady K always says to me "pick up your feet" and I didn't...I fell up the steps.
Pick up Your Feet
Song by Nataly Dawn

I have to...

John Fogerty says that it was Bob Dylan who got him back to playing live by saying to him "Otherwise, people will think that 'Proud Mary' is just a Tina Turner song". He knows of which he speaks, because of course, he wrote "All Along the Watchtower"

How did Tan get me to go from Jimi to this? No idea. I just was inspired to post this song, which I think is amazing.

I absolutely love that guitar sound in this... well, the whole thing, really.

The Rolling Stones - Monkey Man
