Once Bitten (CLOSED)

The cab had dropped Mark off at their apartment. He spotted Mackenzie's car in its usual spot and hauled his bags up the steps. Opening the door to the apartment, he called out to her, announcing his return.

Instantly, he detected the smell of fresh pain from the day before.

"Mackenzie? Are you here? Did you paint something?"

Setting his bags down, he made his way through the apartment.

She was just leaving the shower when the door opened. Why had she been so stupid as to give him a set of keys. Any calmness or clarity the shower had provided was lost. She wrapped up in a towel, an apology on her lips for not picking him up.

He looked good, and she felt like she looked like hell. The words were forgotten, "Yeah I decided to repaint the bedroom. I hope you like the color I chose," she felt a strong need to be with him, as if sex would wipe away the memories, and she dropped her towel suggestively. "If you don't like the fumes, I suppose we could find some other place to sleep and fuck," she put an emphasis on the word fuck.

Mark grinned mischievously at the mention of sex. It had been nearly a week without her and he felt sexually starved.

Less than three seconds later, he'd pinned her against the wall and was aggressively kissing her neck and breasts. He held her left leg up, wrapping it around his waist, his swelling erection pressing through his pants against her exposed sex.

"Decided to go hairless, now, did you?" he whispered between kisses. "Very hot, baby. What other changes do you have for me?"

He slid down her body, kissing, licking and sucking at her breasts and abs.

"God, I missed you so much. I want to eat your pussy so bad and make you cum so hard you fucking howl!"

He dove into her slit, his lips and tongue dancing around her pussy lips. His tongue flicked at her clit, teasing at first and then sucking on it. Her vagina seemed so alive as he explored it with his tongue. He didn't care that she seemed to be near the tail end of her period. All he wanted was to pleasure her.

He worked his way back up, kissing her belly, breasts and neck again. She pulled urgently at his pants, freeing his swollen cock. His tip was practically dripping with pre-cum in anticipation of her.

With a growl, he pinned her arms above her head and positioned his cock against her sex starved pussy.

"So please, baby," he teased, seeing the lust and urgent need on her face. Suddenly she pulled her arms free, completely stunning him.

"What the fuck... ?"

The teasing had been unbearable, but she'd tolerated it because it reminded her that she was a woman. She'd meant to mention her period but since she'd just showered, she doubted it would make much of a difference. Her very first orgasm had been during her period, and it was always easier to get off then.

The orgasm was intense, only making her need for him that much stronger, so when he made his way back up to her mouth, she practically tore his pants off. His growl turned her on and she shuddered inwardly at the implication. When he attempted to pin her arms above her head, well she went wild, feeling trapped for that one instant, and she broke free, her abnormal strength wrapping both her legs around him and managing to impale herself on him, as her mouth claimed his, her arms wrapping around him, clinging desperately to him, and trying to balance her need for his body and the need to not hurt him.

She knew she'd bruised him, no matter how much he'd tried to hide it, and she hated that about herself. Mackenize had never been so physical or aggressive during sex, and wondered if this was a permanent change, a temporary thing, or a reaction to Mark.

Somewhere between that first blissful orgasm and the last, she started to cry and for some reason couldn't stop, even while her body was experiencing sweet carnal bliss.

As hey latest orgasm subsided, she collapsed into a heap upon him weeping.

"Mackenzie... baby... what's wrong? That was amazing," he asked her, although taken back at the increasing physical nature of sex between them.

He was sore, bruised and a little uncertain of what had just happened. Perhaps it had been his being away for a few days that had set her off, but she'd seemed to have been in some sort of sexual frenzy as they'd gone at it.

He carried her to the bedroom, pulled the covers back, gently set her down upon the bed and covered her. He laid next to her, holding her and comforting her. He continued wondering to himself what had just happened. He knew she was on her period and might be more hormonal than usual. Perhaps this was the cause?

After they'd laid together a little bit, he sat up.

"Mackenzie, I'm going to run over to my place for a little bit. I need to check on the place and pick up any mail that's come. I was also thinking I'd grab a couple more shirts and another pair of shoes. I'll be back before dusk and I can pick up chinese food from Wong's again."

He smiled sweetly and kissed her cheek.

Sharon had left the message for Mark about 30 minutes ago and had gotten up off the couch. She paced nervously, worrying about him and replaying the previous night's events in her mind. She shuddered at the thoughts, but some part of her mind couldn't get off the events.

Sharon went to her computer and pulled Mark's home phone number up. There were 2 other numbers listed on his hospital profile besides his cell. She dialed the first one, got his answering machine and pleaded with him to call her. She hung up and then dialed the second number. On the fourth ring, the phone picked up and she could hear somebody fumbling around with the receiver.

"Mark! Mark! Oh my God, Mark, thank God I got ahold of you! Mark, she's crazy! She's a monster, Mark! A werewolf! I saw her change and she attacked me and she raped me, Mark!"

There was silence. Sharon could hear a heavy, winded breathing on the other end of the line.

"Mark? Is that you?"

Mackenzie growled into the phone and hung it up. It all seemed so terrifying, and she immediately called Mark.

"Hey why don't you stay at your place. I'll pick up something on my way." She only half listened to his responses. "I think maybe the paint fumes are getting to me."

She crushed the phone as she went to hang it up, her emotions making it tougher for her to control her strength. Her tears were slow, she never wanted to hurt Mark, but she seemed doomed to cause him pain in one way or another. She considered wrecking her car, but considering her healing rate doubted suicide would be possible.

She packed an overnight bag, despite knowing she wouldn't be using it, but wanted to act as if the world was a normal place. Mackenzie stopped at the Chinese restaurant and considered driving to the crash site forest, but knew that Sharon might be waiting for her there. She wanted to protect Mark from herself.

It was an impossible choice and as the sun's last colors were painting the night sky, she was struggling with her choices. They all seemed impossible and she parked at his home. She got out of the car and felt immediately drawn to both the wooded area, and to the man who was inside. She couldn't have what she wanted, and with a heavy heart she left the food in her car and went into the woods.

The forest surrounded her as she carefully slipped off her clothes, feeling that initial itchy feeling. She struggled to remain human, but the emotional intensity made it impossible. The pain seemed unbearable, and once transformed a lonely howl filled the sky.

Mark arrived and his home and, after collecting his mail and checking on a couple of things, began gathering his clothes. As he was piling things on his bed, his sister rang his cell phone to say hello. They had a brief conversation and Kelly mentioned that she and Mackenzie had gotten together for dinner one day while he was away and she'd decided she liked Mackenzie but felt "there's something a little off about that woman."

After they hung up, Mark saw he had a voice mail he hadn't noticed before. As he listened to it, his jaw dropped in shock. Sharon was babbling on in a nearly hysterical state about how Mackenzie was a monster, how she'd transformed into a werewolf and had attacked and sexually assaulted her in the woods. Mark listened to the message four times before finally saving it. His blood was boiling now. Sharon had tried one dirty underhanded trick after another to break them up or drive a rift between them since they'd started dating and now she'd crossed the line with this delusional allegation. To claim Mackenzie was secretly a monster was a ridiculous, ignorable claim. To then accuse her of rape was downright sick. Mark resolved to let Sharon have it the next time he saw her.

Twenty minutes later, Mackenzie phoned and said she was coming over. The need to hurry abated now, Mark relaxed in front of the television and turned on ESPN.

It was a slow day for sports and Mark was soon looking for other ways to kill time until Mackenzie arrived with their dinner. Remembering he'd forgotten to check his answering machine, Mark was again greeted with another nearly incoherent message from Sharon. She was going from bad to worse! Now he began to seriously worry about the poor woman's mental health. Perhaps she'd come unbalanced and was having some sort of break down! Or what if she was a danger to herself? Or him? Or... Mackenzie?

Mark scrambled for his cell phone and hurriedly dialed Mackenzie's number. He paced while it rang and, glancing out his front window, was relieved to see her car sitting in his drive way in the growing dusk. Relaxing at last, he hung up the phone and went to the front door, expecting to greet her. He was surprised to find she wasn't there or anywhere to be found. Mark went out to the car, looking around everywhere, wondering what had happened to her. In the car sat a bag of Chinese food and her familiar overnight bag in the back seat.

"Mackenzie?" he called out. "Mackenzie, where are you?"

A cold chill ran up his spine. What if Sharon was stalked one or both of them and had ambushed Mackenzie in the driveway?

In a panic, Mark circled around the lot of his house, frantically calling for Mackenzie. As the darkness grew, the cloudless night was illuminated by the pale light of the rising full moon.

Venturing past the tree line of the surrounding woodlands, Mark froze as long howl rang out from deeper within the woods. Looking around nervously for a few minutes, Mark was about to return to the house when he spotted a pile of women's clothes lying on the ground in a nearby clearing. Inspecting them closely, he realized they were the same clothes Mackenzie had been wearing when he'd left her apartment.

In horror, Mark suddenly realized that Sharon must have grabbed Mackenzie, dragged her into the woods, stripped her naked and now could be doing God knows what to her! Mark grabbed a fallen tree branch to use as a make-shift club and pressed deeper into the woods, alternating calls for Mackenzie and Sharon.

She struggled with her animal passions, to take her mate, and the human desire to get as far away from him as possible. Mackenzie could not even begin to imagine what his reaction would be, and she forced herself to run the opposite direction, ranging far afield and getting caught up hunting an agile prey to distract her other desires.

The kill was all too quick, and the taste of blood only made her mind return to her other primal need. Her hot breath turned to mist in the cool air, and just as suddenly as she'd switched to hunting she was racing back to him. Every couple yards, she'd pull herself to a stop, but the closer she got the harder it was to stop.

Luckily the night was coming to an end and she stumbled out of the forest human, without a scratch or scrape on her body. Just some traces of blood around her mouth as she staggered, her body suddenly bone weary as she collapsed in heap of naked limbs just outside the wooded area.

While part of her felt relieved to have made it three days, part of her felt used up. She just wanted to stay asleep, at least in her dreams she wasn't killing Mark, just chasing him, and he seemed to lurk just beyond her grasp, which frustrated her and at same time was a relief.

Mark had spent most of the night combing the woods, frantically searching for Mackenzie. He'd gone so far and deep into the woods, he worried that trekking back for a flashlight or his cell to call 911 might result in him losing her. He felt like she was near, but just beyond his grasp. He could hear movement throughout the forest as its residents seemed to be extremely active tonight.

"Must be the full moon," he thought to himself.

As the sky began to grow lighter, Mark trudged back toward home, tired and frustrated and panicked. He'd need to call the police right away and...

Just then he spotted Mackenzie. She was nude and stumbling out of the woods, a bit of dried blood around her mouth, but otherwise looking whole and intact.

"Mackenzie!" he yelled, racing to her, throwing his arms around her and holding her tightly against him.

"Oh my God, I was so worried! What happened? Was it Sharon? What did she do to you?"

Mackenzie barely made a sound and passed out into his arms. Mark protectively cradled her body in his arms and carried her back to the house. He placed her on the bed and examined her carefully. No signs of injuries, not even cuts or bruises. This left him completely perplexed. She'd just spent a night running around nude through the forest and aside from some dirt, sweat and dried blood around her mouth (the source of which he couldn't identify because she didn't have any cuts), there wasn't a mark on her. He had been dressed and actually knew his way around this forest somewhat and had come back with scratches from tree branches and brambles on his face and hands. Furthermore, she smelt like she'd been rolling around with a wet dog.

Mackenzie slept for a few hours and Mark stayed with her, dozing periodically, maintaining a vigil until she woke. Around noon, she finally stirred.

"Mackenzie," he began, sitting by her side and taking her hand. "We've gotta talk, baby. What... what on earth happened to you last night?"

We've got to talk, there are no words more feared by men and women in a relationship than those words. She could feel the sense of impending doom, the truth would most certainly not set her free. It would trap her, alone and unwanted, she couldn't bear idea of him pulling away from him in horror.

Mackenzie had briefly hoped for 25 more blissful days of ignorance, but Mark was a doctor, and she should have known the first time she'd transformed that there was no hope for them. Tears began slowly falling down her face, the big fat salty drops leaving wet trails behind. She angrily wiped away the tears, hating the coppery taste of blood in her mouth and how it had gotten there. She recalled everything about last night, and more about what had happened the night before. What she had done to Sharon was inexcusable, even as she felt the bitch deserved it.

She straightened out her shoulders, and with a voice she tried hard to keep unemotional and sounded rather cold and steely she uttered, "There is nothing to talk about." She pulled away, standing and after a quick and superfluos check to see that her body was unharmed she told him. "I'm going to take a shower." There was no hint of asking, or offering to share, as she began the painful process of pulling away so as to not cause him any further harm.

After all she'd already screwed up his life pretty well, and she felt bad about her visit with Kelly, of course then she had thought there could be a happy future. The water was steaming hot, and she didn't care, her body as numb as her heart. This was for the best, it would only be worse and more painful later. She'd have to find a way to see that Sharon was all right, perhaps a hypnotist or something.

She would have to move, her own place filled with far too many memories of Mark. Her family would be upset, but eventually supportive, she considered where she might go, as the water ran cold.

Mark was stunned at Mackenzie's reaction. As she showered, he replayed the night's events in his mind, carefully considering what to do next. When Mackenzie finally emeged from the shower, he sat awaiting her in the living room.

"Mackenzie, I was concerned about you. You disappeared and I was worried. I got a pair of bizarre voicemails from Sharon, babbling something about you attacking her and it sounded so nuts that I worried she was off her rocker and had abducted you. If she doesn't have anything to do with what happened last night and nobody hurt you, then I'm glad. But I need to know what happened and why. I can let it go a little bit until... until you're ready to talk about it, but I need to know.

"Mackenzie, I love you no matter what. But you owe it to me to share what happened last night. Why did you go off into the woods like this? You would ask the same from me. Is... is there somebody else?"

Mark didn't know what to think or what to make of the situation. Was Mackenzie going as crazy as Sharon? Or...

Mark shook his head. That was absurd. Sharon couldn't have... have been telling the TRUTH is some bizarre way, could she? Could Mackenzie... HIS Mackenzie... have attacked Sharon? And in the trauma of the event, Sharon became convinced that Mackenzie was some... some sort of werewolf?

She tried to be angry with him and his questions, and the mention of Sharon. She felt trapped, and with a strange suddenness she dropped the towel, strode over to him and shut him up with a kiss. Hoping to communicate with the one kiss that there was no other man in her life, that if he would just stop asking questions. Questions she had no idea how to answer. She was half tempted to claw herself and let him watch her body heal.

No that would just freak him out, especially the doctor side of him. She had done her best to get rid of the taste of blood in her mouth, and she craved him in a way she could not describe. She needed him, and not just sexually, but she refused to contemplate the implications of that link.

"Shut up," it was a demand, "There is no other man," well there had been another woman, but she was letting that slide. "I felt sick last night, I think Sharon must have slipped some sort of hallucinagen." Her lips easily told the lies, lies she hoped he would want to believe. "We've become rather regular customers at Wong's I'm sure it didn't take much for her to tamper with our order."

"I thought it was just recovering from the wreck, a little PTSD, but after you said about her calling well she does have access to all sorts of drugs."

Mackenzie's aggressive kiss silenced Mark. His hands found their way to her firm breasts, massaging them, pressing his body against hers.

Their lips parted and she explained her actions, blaming Sharon. His eyes narrowed, a skeptical look crossing his face.

"How could she have drugged the food? And you hadn't eaten it yet. I think maybe you were just a little sick last night. God, I wish I'd known what you did out there. I found your clothes and was so worried you'd been abducted."

Mark paused a moment as if considering his words. A sly look crossed his face.

"You know, if I'd know you wanted to go running around naked in forest, I might have joined you. It's kinda hot just thinking about you out there."

He kissed her neck, pressing his body against hers. His initially tender kisses increased in intensity and he growled softly into her ear as the tip of his tongue snaked along the tips.

"I don't care what happened, baby, as long as you're safe now and with me. I just wanna fuck you like an animal right now!"

Mark's left hand slid down Mackenzie's back, massaging the small of her back and the top of her firm ass. Seconds later, his clothes were once again vigorously pulled away, thrown off to side in a heap and they were on the floor making mad, chaotic love. Their bodies entwined and every motion, every thrust, every kiss, every lick, every moan was filled with passion. The uncertainty and emotion that had just overtaken them both now fueled their desires for one another, taking them both to screaming orgasmic heights.

Mark's questioning of Mackenzie ceased there. He would not speak of that night again for sometime, allowing Mackenzie her space. But in the back of Mark's brain, a tiny voice continued to wonder aloud what exactly had happened and warned him that there was more to this woman than met the eye. For now, however, he didn't care.

She knew she had not touched the food, but she had finished off her soda. If he pressed her on details, well she was slightly distracted from the pleasure by building her lie. It was so unfair, why didn't she meet him a few days earlier? before the accident, before her birthday, she would not have been driving alone if they'd met then, and she never would have ended up like this. At the same time she wondered if he would have noticed her the way she was, if she was brutally honest with herself she admitted it was unlikely. It only served to fuel her inner rage, and she funnelled as much of her anger as she safely could into fucking him. The pleasure of his body a welcome distraction from her painful thoughts.

Every time she passed a mirror she saw a stranger looking back, and she wondered how he could really love her, that if he only truly knew, then he would run away so far and fast that even with her heightened senses she would not be able to track him. She would begin testing her limits, cutting herself, falling down stairs, wearing silver jewelry as she went in depth with the legends.

She did not feel a rush about being indestructable, instead it seemed to fuel her rage, as she played with candles, watching the skin bubble, blister, and heal all within a few blinks of an eye. The pain was real enough, and whenever she had a private moment, she cut or clawed her flesh, reminding herself of the pain.

Blood was far easier to clean up, and she didn't need to cover the smell of burnt flesh. Fire was more cathardic somehow, perhaps due to it burning without effort, there was only so deep she could cut herself, for fear of the wound closing with the knife or cutting tool inside. Her anger was bottled up at work, and she managed to avoid Sharon, who seemed to lurk around the library far too often for her own comfort.

It was strange how she knew where the bitch was, when she was approaching, and it troubled Mackenzie. It was too similiar to the bond she had with Mark, and when she tried to starve herself, the temptation to bite him had grown stronger, so she'd finally gorged on food, relieved when the desire to bite him faded, but angry that it never really went away.

Over the next few days, Mark noticed a change in Mackenzie. She seemed short tempered and easily angered. Her outbursts came at frightening unpredictable times, whether Mark was a few minutes late coming home from work or if she misplaced something and couldn't find it immediately. Mark coolly let the outbursts pass, writing some of it off to PMS. Sex had become more frequent and aggressive with Mackenzie demanding it three, sometimes four or more times a day, particularly on days he wasn't working and was around more. Being only human, Mark did his best to perform but was amazed at her increasingly insatiable appetite. Still, she never failed to arouse him, whether it was through subtle means such as a wanton, hungry look or a lingering touch, or through more direct and physical means such as meeting him at the door, pulling down his pants, sucking him to erection and then pulling him to the floor with an urgent demand to "Fuck me hard now!"

In short, Mackenzie had become Mark's ultimate fantasy... beautiful, sexually aggressive and adventurous. However, he found her increasing emotional detachment and chilliness disturbing. She seemed both unwilling and unable to share herself and open up to him. At work, he began quietly reading and researching whether she might be suffering from post traumatic stress disorder, severe depression, schizophrenia or be bipolar. He desperately hoped it was something simple… something that could be addressed with counseling or (if need be) medicine.

Mark hadn’t bothered to confront Sharon. In fact, he’d ignored and avoided her. To his surprise, Sharon did the same to him, averting her eyes from him when the passed in the hallways and getting herself reassigned to avoid his patients. The head nurse commented to Mark, “I don’t know what you did to that one and it ain’t my business, but now she’s avoidin’ you like the plague.”

--------------

Sharon sat in her car in the parking lot, her hands tightly gripping the wheel. She had driven to the library once again on her lunch break and knew she was doomed to repeat the same cycle again. It had started subtly a few days after the attack. She’d physically recovered, but the emotional scars had remained. Over and over, that night’s horrific events had replayed themselves in her mind. Her emotions had run the gamut… horror and revulsion, denial, anger, and now depression. Mackenzie had transformed into a wolf-like monster… a decidedly male monster… and then attacked and sexually assaulted her. At first, Sharon convinced herself it might have all been a dream of some sort. She had wanted to confront Mackenzie to seek out some sort of confirmation that it hadn’t really happened. She’d begun following the young woman… at work, as she ran errands, etc. But Sharon had never had the guts to confront Mackenzie. The thought of sounding like a stark raving lunatic… or the prospect of the revelation that the night’s events might really be true… had kept Sharon at a safe distance.

The fear of being exposed at work as a madwoman or an obsessed stalker and then further disciplined had kept her from speaking further with Mark. He’d come back to work after the conference as planned and seemed fine. Mackenzie clearly hadn’t harmed him and they were still together, as she’d heard from one of the other nurses. Sharon reluctantly gave up on Mark, figuring that further attempts would be futile.

Sharon had finally looked in the garbage bag in which she’d thrown her torn clothing from that night. The remnants of her shirt were all that she’d still had on when she crawled out of those woods and into her car. She wasn’t sure why she’d kept it, having thrown it into the back of her closet like some awful gift she didn’t have the willpower to throw away. The torn shirt was caked with mud and other strains which she knew to be saliva and semen. Looking at it again caused her to break down into tears, knowing the events had happened as she remembered them.

Next she had wanted to angrily confront Mackenzie, swear to her that she’d get her back. Sharon had even gone to a firearms store and inquired about silver bullets. When the clerk had chuckled and asked her if she was planning to do some werewolf hunting, Sharon fled the store in embarrassment. She knew she didn’t have the guts to actually try and shoot Mackenzie. And it was then she first realized that she didn’t want to kill her… or see her harmed for that matter. At first, Sharon deluded herself that death would be too good for Mackenzie. But now Sharon wasn’t sure what she wanted to say or do to Mackenzie. She just felt the need to… confront her in some way.

“So here I am again,” Sharon thought to herself. "I’m about to walk into her place of work again, wander around, watch her from afar and then run out of the place the second I get paranoid that she spotted me.

“What’s wrong with me? Am I obsessed with her? God, I’m so fucking pathetic! Sharon, what’s wrong with you! You keep thinking about her, dreaming about her… and it’s not even the attack now… it’s just her you keep thinking about…”

Sharon sighed and got out of the car. Without brooding over the subject further, she hurriedly entered the library. Spotting Mackenzie helping a child at a computer, Sharon stayed a safe distance away in the book shelves. Uncertain of what to do next, she began pulling books on the supernatural and werewolves.

Thirty minutes later, Sharon was walking toward the checkout counter with half a dozen books on the subject under her arm. She swallowed hard and stepped forward, setting the books on the counter before Mackenzie with a light ‘thud’. Their eyes met, Sharon quivering nervously. Mackenzie’s eyes narrowed and she wordlessly began scanning the books.

“Um… uh…” Sharon stammered, searching for words.

“Can… can we talk? Please? I… I’m sorry for trying to interfere with you and Mark. It… it won’t happen again. Please? I… I just need to make peace with you? Please?”

Sharon’s eyes welled with tears, her pleas sounding genuine and like those of a child pleading with a stern parent for approval.

Mackenzie had been unable to avoid Sharon this time, and with a sick feeling in the pit of her stomach she checked her out. The books made her pain worse, in fact Mackenzie had looked at many of them. Like so many things about herself, abilities that had been strong for a human were now amazingly enhanced. Before she could read and absorb about a hundred pages an hour, now she could read almost as fast as she could turn the pages. She was wearing a ornate silver cross about her neck. As if to defy anyone to consider she was anything else other than a normal woman.

She hadn't been sleeping well, and her face had a tired look. It had been two short weeks since her transformation, the empty new moon hanging like a dark pit in the sky. It didn't help that her hormones were peaking again as she was ovulating.

She looked at Sharon with a mix of contempt and pity. "What?" the one word an angry threatening growl. "What you've already done and tried to do wasn't enough?" Her tone was chilling, "Don't tell me that you're knocked up, Todd isn't stupid enough to go bareback with a slut like you." She slammed the last cover shut harder than she needed to, her body was burning, stomach boiling, with the desire to throw Sharon against the wall, and a countering instinct to carry her away to some den in the forest and keep her to take care of her needs as a wolf.

After all Sharon already knew, and no one would miss her. Mackenzie's eyes flared the luminescent gold, and her hands were balled into fists, and it took an extreme measure of control to not dig her nails into her hands. The last thing she needed was to deal with blood dripping off her hands.

At the pause Mackenzie flinched, "You're not pregnant are you?" as if the full horror of what that could mean sunk in. Thinking of what that could mean for both of them.

"You're not pregnant are you?"

Mackenzie's words lingered between them and Sharon stared downward at the counter, her eyes unable to make contact with Mackenzie's. She slowly reached out her hand, placing it on Mackenzie's.

"I... I don't know," she whispered softly. "I'd been told I couldn't have children, but now... I'm late."

Her voice trailed off. She slowly raised her eyes to Mackenzie's, finally summoning the will to make contact. Her eyes were quickly welling up with tears and her bottom lip trembled.

"I just... I just need to... to talk with you. To see you. To... talk about what happened between us, ok? Please?

"Could... could we maybe meet for coffee or something? After you get off work maybe?"

"Nothing happened between us," her voice was a low pitched growl. "I can give you Todd's number if you've misplaced it." The thought of this lowly bitch carrying any relation of hers, was unspeakably horrific, even as more flashes of what she'd done to Sharon as a wolf came painfully to the surface.

"I think I'm going to be sick," she covered her mouth and dashed off to the bathroom. After emptying her stomach, she felt better and worse at the same time. One of the many contradictory feelings that she had to grow used to.

She should have known Sharon would be there when she went to the sink. Mackenzie rinsed her mouth out and washed her hands.

"I hate coffee, how about pastries?" She knew Sharon wasn't going to drop this and so she figured she'd get used to the bristling feel and bite the bullet.

Sharon agreed to meet Mackenzie at a nearby pastry shop after work. She returned to the hospital and, at the end of her shift, changed and headed over to meet her.

As Sharon sat waiting for Mackenzie to arrive, a cup of tea in one hand, she ran her other hand across her belly. Despite her promiscuous ways, Sharon had always been careful, had always used protection and had never had so much as a pregnancy scare. The prospect of being pregnant scared her. Pregnant with the offspring of Mackenzie... as a male werewolf... was unthinkable! She shuddered, closing her eyes.

All day she had thought about it. Prior to confronting Mackenzie this afternoon, she'd been in denial. Now... now it was a very real prospect. On her way over, Sharon had grabbed a pair of home pregnancy tests from a nearby pharmacy. She didn't want to go into the ladies' room and use them here, but would when she got home.

What if Mackenzie had gotten her pregnant? What would their child be? A wolf? A werewolf? Human? Something else? Sharon shuddered again, not wanting to consider the possibilities.

And what about Mackenzie? How would she react? How would her... alter ego... react? (If they ever met again.) Sharon thought about that for a moment. She'd been unnecessarily cruel and jealous of Mackenzie and all because of Dr Mark. He was the last thing on her mind now and didn't seem worth the efforts she'd gone through. She'd made a FOOL of herself. And Mackenzie probably wasn't that bad of a person. Sharon would have probably reacted the same way. Well, except for the whole bit in the woods...

Sharon suddenly broke down into tears, putting her head down and sobbing uncontrollably. She'd envied Mackenzie and now her envy had brought this upon her...

Time seemed to drag by until the last minute, and then it seemed to slip away quickly. She gripped the wheel of her car a little too tightly, and her blood was pounding in her head. She took a few deep breaths. Headache or no headache she needed to deal with Sharon, it all seemed like such a nightmare.

It was all too real as she stepped out of the car, her athletic leg firmly touching the ground reminding her of all the changes that had occured in her body. She closed the door behind her and stepped quickly into the bakery.

Of course Sharon was already there, and after picking up a couple of pastries and a cup of hot chocalate. Her rapid metabolism made it so she didn't have to worry about what she ate. She sipped at the drink, licking the cool whip off her upper lip as she sat down.

She didn't know what to say, as she nibbled at a delicate pastry. "So have you taken a a test?"

As Mackenzie entered, she seemed to move in slow motion. Her every move seemed so precise, so perfect. She exuded an independent, carefree confidence as she moved, leaving Sharon feeling both envious and intimidated. Mackenzie's body seemed so perfectly toned and graceful, her firm bra-free breasts prominently on display beneath her blouse...

Sharon snapped herself back to reality, away from studying Mackenzie's body. For a moment, she wondered what the hell she'd been doing, but quickly focused on the question she'd just been asked.

"Oh! A test? No. No, I haven't. I picked up a pair at the CVS across the street and was planning to try them when I get home."

Sharon's eyes seemed to well up with tears, but she fought to hold them back.

"Mackenzie... I... I'm so sorry I was so terrible to you. I never... I... I..."

For a moment, her voice trailed off and then she regained her composure.

"I'm... really scared. I mean, what if I am pregnant? Should I get an abortion? I would want to... I mean, it would... I... I'm just afraid of what this would mean."

Sharon paused again, thinking.

"You... you're... a werewolf, right? How long have you been... like this? And... could what you did... what happened between us... could it end up making me like you too?"

Sharon looked down at her trembling hands, her lips quivering. Slowly, she reached a hand out to Mackenzie's.

"What... what are we going to do, Mackenzie?"

The idea of her killing the child, if there was a child, was as repulsive as the thought of her carrying the child. It was a horrific mess she'd made, or perhaps Sharon had made. It wasn't her fault at all, if only this stupid bitch had stayed away, kept her nose out of Mackenzie's life. Well it was too late now, and wishful thinking would get her no where.

She growled slightly at the suggestion of an abortion, "No, you won't be like me." Her stomach turned at the thought of making anyone like herself caused the thin fine hair on her arm to stand on end. "I didn't exactly get an instructional manual."

It was strange to admit to anyone, much less Sharon what had happened to her and it was a painful relief to be able to talk to anyone even Sharon. "You should stay away from me, especially during the nights of the full moon." She bit her lower lip at the strange animalistic desire to rape Sharon again. It was such a sadistic thrill, and she tried to push it away as Sharon was the easiest available path for sexual release when she was in her man wolf form.

Sharon was taken back at Mackenzie’s coldness. She hadn’t said anything about their child, only giving her a cold stare and a growl when Sharon suggested an abortion. Yet Mackenzie had not offered an alternative or even a word of sympathy for Sharon’s burden and their mutual plight. Sharon hadn’t asked to be raped, especially not by the beast that Mackenzie had become. Now Mackenzie seemed in complete denial of the consequences of her actions. Instead, she’d only told Sharon to stay away from her.

“But… but I can’t. Mackenzie, this is… our child. And I… I need you. Not just for the child, but… oh, God, I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I NEED to be around you. With you.”

Sharon again reached out, gently taking Mackenzie’s hand with both of hers. She softly rubbed her hand. The attraction she felt to Mackenzie was now undeniable. Sharon had experimented with other women a few times in college, but she had never considered herself bi-sexual. She wondered if it had been the trauma of what had happened combined with the confusing nature of her potential pregnancy. The attraction to Mackenzie was more to her in the role of a protector than of a sexual nature. Still, there was some physical attraction. Something about Mackenzie was undeniably alluring. Perhaps it was a combination of some sort of pheromones Mackenzie was giving off and the hormonal changes Sharon’s body was no doubt undergoing, leading her to feel drawn to the one who had caused this.

Sharon’s mind lingered on that last thought. …the one who caused this… caused this… caused THIS.

Sharon snapped out of her reverie, her face flushing with anger.

“But you CAUSED THIS! YOU! I didn’t ASK to be pregnant with YOUR child. With OUR child! And now you have the NERVE to tell me what to do with MY body without so much as a WORD OF COMFORT, let alone a suggestion about what we should do! You want me to keep it, but to stay away from you? Oh, that’d be really convenient for you, wouldn’t it, Mackenzie?!?! ‘Sharon, you can raise our baby so I don’t feel guilty for killing it, but stay the fuck out of my life ‘cause I don’t need the hassle or a weirded out feeling every time I LOOK at the kid I caused.’

“Goddamn you, Mackenzie! I NEED you. Emotionally. And… oh God… even physically. But if you’re not going to be there for me, I’m getting an abortion!”

Sharon stood in a huff, tears streaming down her face.

"You stalked me remember?" Mackenzie was disgusted with how Sharon was pathetically proclaiming her innocence while making Mackenzie out to be the evil one. She watched Sharon her golden eyes pinning hers with a possessive ease. Her tone was commanding, as if by her own sheer power of will she could get Sharon to be reasonable.

"You Will Do No Such Thing." The words drawn out and slightly menacing. "Sit Down and Shut Up." She wanted to call her a stupid bitch, that everything led back to Sharon's actions. That Sharon had started this, and f anyone was going to end it, it was going to be Mackenzie.

Mackenzie was unaware of the looks of longing men and women in their vicinity were giving them as her hormones raged off the charts, her skin slightly flushed, her nipples swollen, her entire body giving off a fuck vibe.

It was a miracle an orgy didn't ensue as she laid her hand across Sharon's her strong fingers stroking her hands, trying to calm her down while unintentionally arousing her. She was fighting her own urges, the memory of what it had been like to Take Sharon as the wolf strongly locked in her mind.

"Relax," the word was a caress and she bit her lip as she noticed that Sharon was visible aroused, the scent of her slutty cunt strong to Mackenzie's heightened senses. Her voice was a husky whisper. "I Can and Will Tell you What to do with your body." The words flew from her lips, "You will make yourself available to me at any time of the month." It was odd how easily she commanded Sharon and how Sharon easily caved.

As Mackenzie ordered her to sit, Sharon froze and obediently sat. Sharon couldn't understand it, but her will to fight and her anger had evaporated in that one split second. As Sharon cowered to Mackenzie's flash of anger, all she could do was think about how she needed to be with Mackenzie, close to her, obeying her.

Sharon gave a light gasp as Mackenzie touched her hand. The last of her anger dissipated and Sharon stared into Mackenzie's golden eyes like a puppy dog pleading for attention. The more Mackenzie stroked her hand, the warmer and more comforted Sharon began to feel. She slowly became aware of a moistening feeling between her legs and a growing desire to kiss Mackenzie's beautiful red lips. An image of herself lying nude in Mackenzie's arms slowly began to materialize in Sharon's minds eye.

"I Can and Will Tell you What to do with your body."

"O-ok, Mackenzie," Sharon whispered in a barely audible voice. More images flashed into her mind of her and Mackenzie together.

"You will make yourself available to me at any time of the month."

"Yes. Oh God yes, Mackenzie," Sharon whispered longingly. Sharon felt like she was in a daze. She needed to obey Mackenzie. She needed to serve and obey her. Suddenly, a memory of the night in the woods came to Sharon. Of Mackenzie fucking her as a wolf. Sharon bit her bottom lip and squeezed her thighs together, nearly having an orgasm right then and there.

The two sat in silence for a few more minutes, staring into one another's eyes. The smell of sex and arousal filled the pastry shop and several of the other couples present hastily departed and headed for the closest bedroom available.

Finally, Sharon spoke again.

"I... I need to go and take this... this test. Um, would you like to come over and be there when I get the results? I only live a few miles from here."
