Hi CE hun! Nice to see ya! My day is going well, although I'm wired from too much coffee. And how is it that one teenaged girl turns into 3 so easily??

They communicate over the air waves, signalling their location. :)

Play Oingo Boingo really loud. You'll never see them again. It worked for me in college. ;)

Waving hi to the crowd as I pass through....

I used to love oingo boingo. I bet listening to their CD would get me off my butt and moving, whaddya think?

I'm procrastinating huge...

Hugs to you all...

Hi Piper, Big hug! You can't sit down and listen to OB. Get up and put your body in motion. (actually that is someone else... still) :)

Just rambling writing whilst resting on my rump!

Coffee is always cool - anytime...

and with company is always better. Let me know, if you like. Its always up to you. My goat is hidden.

There is much less river water than normal - getting a little like summer of '81.

Fly carefully. My son boarded a plane in Charlotte and was searched (he looks like such a little terrorist). The searcher told him his "parental advisory" CDs "weren't appropriate." Junior pointed out that they aren't illegal, either. My boy - question authority!!!

More on coffee....

I know a wonderful little college hang-out, artsy-fartsy, greasy-spoon, cheap, dark, dank dirty dive....heaven on earth sort of place, with pretty darned good coffee, and milkshakes, too.

Hmmm, they definitely wouldn't care for my Godsmack CD's then... I'll let you know the closer it gets...at this point I'm not exactly sure what my itinerary will be once there...certainly a trip to Kings Dominion and the Pottery. Ahhh....I just know I'm not going to want to leave.

* Fluffing the pillows on the sofa....putting some Pink in the cd player....*

Yup, it's a girl power night.....

Spontaneous

I understand it. You had mentioned KD, and I understand the Pottery, as well. Let me know - I play much of life by ear. Some days, it looks like I'm tone deaf, too.

It was either Tool or Rage the guy didn't like.

You know, if you decide to stay, I'm sure there's room.

There's a drunk singing in the street outside my window. There's room for him, too.

So just where is the little college hang out?

The Village Cafe

SW corner of Harrison and Grace, in the Fan. It was across the street for years, and A Sunny Day was in this location. ASD closed, and the Village moved. Whereas it ain't the most happenin' place, the jukebox is good, the food is cheap, the service is entertaining, the clientele eclectic, and the occassional Grace Street wino-walk-thru hilarious. I'm still digesting from dinner and a shake. Took my book, but got table company instead - a hazard of knowing the customers. And the coffee is good, too - usually.

It sounds wonderful. Ah, the Fan. God, I miss Richmond... and hearing all the place names... I am so anxious to come home....even if just for a week.

I like Eve 6 too.

I'm such a Karaoke Junkie. I did Inside Out the other night with out having to look at words and got a huge O from the crowd.

(Ovation, not orgasm unfortunately, but I'll take any attention I can get right now.)
