My apologies. Paragraph-Quote police rejected my submission, which as submitted before the deadline. Consequently, theedited version willl be submitted after the deadline.

Send me the story name and when you resubmit and I’ll ask to have you added. It’s not a competition so it shouldn’t be an issue. Out the story event stuff in the note field anyhow

I have just read 3 straight:- Chloe's, Keith D's and Melissa Baby's. Excellent stuff. MB and Chloe captured their environment well. Keith D almost too well. I only remember Beirut as a very young person before the war. The destruction of Beirut makes Notre Dame look almost insignificant.

Oh, that's not good. Once you submit, the status immediately changes to "pending". If the status still says "draft", you didn't submit it. You may not have clicked the right thing.

I went back in just now, there was no submit button, just "save as draft".

Triple-checked. I uploaded the RTF file a few days ago, clicked on "save draft", and that's as far as it let me go. No "submit" button or anything beyond that, even when I go back into it now.

Ah! You have to click "Preview Story" first in order to get the "Submit for Publication" button. That could certainly be more clear.

AHA! Yeah, that *really* wasn't clear, especially since there's other stuff that talks about how you *can't* preview stories if you submit them as RTF.

It's been months since my last submission, and my first time uploading a file rather than putting the story text directly into the submission page, so I got a bit confused on the process. Sorry about that.
