Been taking some 'fun' examinations last few days, thus the shortness of my posts. However...if there is going to be some high quality anime on the thread I just might consider coming back for a longer visit...

BTW, I don't normally write novalistic entries because I don't like creating the world when I'm a player, and/or, vice versa, interacting with the world as a DM.

Ok Khadgar, we are in the pitch black stairwell. My lantern is out of propane, and the others are trying to light theirs. The monsters are yours to unleash. Maybe a licker or two, since they can adhere to the ceiling, so the men would not have seen them without looking up when they entered the stairwell.

Erm...anyhow, no Khadgar, that was something else...something I imagine will be worse then Mr. X and will probably be outside around right now, flying around. Mr. X was one of the level 3 or 4 guys though, not sure how powerful you want the strongest monsters to be.

uh, Mr. X IS the most powerful creature in the games. well RES two anyway, RS 1 and 3 don't really have huge bosses at the very end.

Ok Khadgar, let me explain something to ya in regards to rifles. Im no expert on fire arms, but I am quite familar with the 30/06 and the 30/30, mainly for the fact that I own them. Both those weapons are refered to as cop killers due to the fact that they can go through police body armor, and have almost been baned by those damn Gun Nazi.
Heres the break down though, when you saw off the barrel of a shot gun, the blast becomes more powerful, thats a proven fact. Now if you do the same to a weapon such as a 30/30, you lose the abilty to use it as an efective weapon, but in close combat, such as room to room fighting, it would be one hell of a cannon, the blast would infact be quite huge, added to the fact that the rounds were armor piercing. Thoght the rifle would no longer be accurate, in close combat it wouyld be deadly. I will even inject this too, that shooting such a weapon would have a huge recoil, due to the force that would be coming out.
Please correct me if Im wrong, but Im sure im preaty much right about the effect the riffle would do.
