Hello all, just wanted to post this and let everyone know that Im still here, just have been working through some issues. Now everything is back on track and Im ready to start again.

I know we're just starting to move along, so I know this makes me a dick, but... I've got to cut Lit out of my life indefinitely, at least the next month. I'm juggling a couple huge prospects that'll sort've define my life from this point on. I'm at the crossroads and traveling down a few paths as far as I can, til I'm absolutely forced to choose.

This's unforeseen stuff, otherwise I wouldn't have positioned myself in such important roles. Do whatever's best with my characters everything else. I'll be on and off through the weekend if anyone needs to talk to me. After that, I have no clue.

Unless Ankara wants to play both villians (James Madrox and Mystique) I'm gonna assume that we wont be working on the SL.

Ithica, Vix and I have a Danger Room Session we can play out but that wont last more than a week or so.

I find the problem with having the school as the main hub thread, is that we loose small stories because I don't want to start a thread for something that may or may not make it past a page or two and we are loosing some of the story because of that.

The only time a Story was going to break off of the Hub is if it wasn't happening at the school. for instance in the germany thread once the groups left the mansion they would have made a new thread. The Hub is to have a gathering point that we can leave and come back to after missions and where fallout from missions would happen. Just like in the comics just because a team of Xmen leave the mansion doesnt mean life at the mansion stopped.

So what about small side stories that don't happen at the school. Do we have to start a new thread for something that may or may not run for only a page?

The Idea of the thread was so that when we have a mission that involves a team to go and fight a villian that they would move from the mansion and start a new thread to goto and battle it out.

Think of it this way. In the comics, when a villian presented itself to the Xmen a team was sent to battle that villian. The other teams stayed at the mansion in case another threat showed itself. That is how the Xmen thread is to be. That was why we had team leaders (Havok, Storm, and Gambit with Rogue) and their teams would have been chosen from the students / Xmen remaining.

I guess it would depend on what type of side story it would be. For instance Vix and I decided to do the Gambit and Rogue reconnecting away from the Mansion hub because it was like a limited edition spin off. If they were just going to go off and talk then we would have just stayed in the hub.

Just to explain how the Hub idea was going to be done in my head, Ill using Gentli's SL. (Gentli and Ankara please dont take offense to anything I say here. You two did a good job how you did it, it just wasnt how I wanted the Hub thread to work.)

We had the students and the Xmen interacting in the Xaviers thread. Gentli should have started a Mission Thread off of the Hub as the evil James Maddox. Ankara playing Mystique and Kitty pride would have posted as Mystique on the mission thread with the evil James then posted on the Xavier as Kitty. When Kitty went to where ever she went and was captured by Mystique that would have been posted on the Mission Thread. Then Mistique shifted into Kitty and returned to the Xavier thread to cause all of the trouble at the mansion. When Mystique and James left the mansion they should have returned to the Mission thread. Once the Xmen team was selected to go on the mission to battle Mistique and James they would have left the Xavier thread and went to the mission thread where the rest of the SL would have happened. Life at the Xavier Thread with those not chosen to do the mission would have went on. After the mission was resolved -however it came out- The Xmen team would return to the mansion and the Mission Thread would be closed.

Just to fill you all in, Im working out a SL for the Xmen thread and will be starting it on Monday, so if you are staying to play on the Xmen thread say so now. If you are done with the Xmen thread please dont be afraid to say so. After all of the things that have happened in the past few weeks I wouldn't blame anyone for calling it off.
