Mostly by months...but you may want to note important days and events. Chainsaw appreciation.....free love day, fixed the out house plumming day....new babies born, weddings, birthday...yolding contests etc. good background for roleplay.

Yes you can....shouldn't wait three months for an answer to things like do you want this dance or will you disarm or will we disarm you...etc.

My Apologies people....figured out what my internet troubles have been and now am able to stay on the net without losing singal every few minutes (making long posts difficult). I need to crash now but after my shift tomorrow I will be writing. Everyone seems to have solid plans. Sorry for the hold up once again...this can be a great thread.

OOC / communication and survillance;

All our communication and servillance birds were safely launched and are in orbit and they are already relaying new information down to the surface. I am having Robert take over one of our communications specialists and equipment so we can set up better communications between the two colonies. Robert is also bringing over a list of our extra gear to see if Erin Nova can use any of it . With that we also sent a list of what we could use. (I askes for another barrel of stout.) .

Well, in a nutshell, Erin Nova hand GEM have made an alliance of sorts, the Irish want to kill everyone else, and Screech and I, not wanting to be dead, have made a co-op deal ourselves.

Then we landed on the new planet, each choosing our preferred terrain types and that's that.

Just another question or two.

Is there going to be a second wave of colonisits and when?

Are we going to be able to call up for a supply ship to replenish stores and to get additional equipment and techonogly?

And how far are we into the first three (3) months at this point?

I was going to ask what our next surprise was going to be, but I think we

Second wavers.....start loading your gear on board the Ark Royal


The Ark Royal will be bring additional supplies from Colony Inc and your sponors since the ship will not be completely full.

Also a freetrader will be visiting you all shortly. Only one of you has credit with him (rengadeirishman).

I would say we are only about half way through the first six weeks of the three month beginning period.

The Angelus

As in the Dark Angel series these are a group of genetically enhanced humans who were raised under a lab environment and subjected to a series of testing and training programs until a budget cut saw them cut free and released into a society they don't fit into and don't quite understand except as text book references. They see the colony project as an excellent opportunity to develop as their own society. They don’t fully understand all human interactions, but are smart, strong and learn easily. They have brought with them advisors and lovers, but no children, as none of them have bred yet and feel very uncomfortable around children. They also brought with them a vast library (now stored on data crystals) to aid in their quest for their own humanity. All the genetically bred Angelus have training in melee and hand to hand combat, great endurance, and faster than normal reflexes. .

Victor is the far thinker and it was his idea to colonize. He sees emotions as hindering, and resists his own. Everything is very black and white to him. He hasn’t paired with anyone, but he greatly admires Asha. His prime goal is the survival of his lab mates without bowing or owing anyone else.

Asha-98573
Asha is further along the road to being a fully social/emotional being, thanks to her having lived with an actual family after leaving the lab. She is the interface between the fractions within the group. Her prime goal is the success of the Angelus colony.

Sondra Eddings
Sondra is a psychologist who has abandoned her work back home to make a life-study of this group and have it added to the library as a definitive work. Her prime goal is the success of her study which will live on after her.

Brett Dowd
Brett is a retired teacher and had worked at the Easton Bay Library when he met Teena, one of the genetics. He is strongly resisting Teena’s advances, even tho they co-hab, and uses history’s lessons to help guide the Angelus. His prime goal is to build the library and a college.


The group is split 60/40 with most of the members being genetics. The humans who joined them are a mixed bag of fringe people: Poets and artists of the angsty type who would be drawn to the gentics who would seem brooding and or shy, as well as those who would be drawn by the social experiment aspect of it.

While the human's see the Expendables as a useful tool, they seriously creep most of the gentic's out.

They would prefer a rugged land, where the mountains reach the sea, and a lot of natural resources so they can live "off the land". Much like the Pudget Sound area was 200 years ago.

Emtional balance-low
Ablity to form a unit-high in the gentic's, low in the humans, so a lot of internal confilct within the group on certain issues.
Hate clones/clone research
Since they are a product of tech and most of the human's with them are artistic they are aiming to use tech only so far and then become a min-tech socity.
Umm...The 60/40 spilt means that 60 of them have a degree of combat readiness while the rest are total non-combatants.
